I'm trying to figure out how wanting to beat Bama twice makes me a terrible poster. All the guys wanting the "easiest" route must not be very competitive. I wanna beat the best of the rest, not the easiest.

Why are us LSU Fans Afraid of a Rematch with Bama?
Who cares if they get the rematch. They are clearly the only team that is in the same league as LSU this year. They SHOULD get the rematch imo. Why so scared?
This 100% if your number 1 just sit back and say bring it to who ever!

LSU's reward for going undefeated and winning the SEC: play the toughest team they already beat, and have to beat them again for all the marbles
Bama's reward for losing its only tough game, and a home game at that: A do-over for the national championship.
That's bullshite. Bama doesn't deserve shite. Everyone is talking down other team's accomplishments to justify bama, while bama has NO accomplishments. Again, they don't deserve shite.

frick that noize. If LSU beats Bama twice and neither are at home, nothing is tainted.
LSU is the best team in the country win or lose in the NC. The media will push the agenda though

Exactly. Too many people forget that the only reason we have a NC game is to give two really good teams who haven't played each other the chance to decide it on the field. That has already happened between the current #1 and #2. It'd been decided. Move on to someone else. It's the only fair way to see if there's another team out there better than LSU.

we already did that, nov 5, and won. Why should we have to do it again against bama in a winner take all scenario? There is no good reason, which is why when OSU wins, they will jump bama. It's bama's biggest fear, and it WILL happen.

Hey, go ahead and troll LSU posters on this site. I'm gonna enjoy linking this thread for all to see how you would so quickly shite on your own fan base.

Never mind , just started reading some of the posts above me, guess there was more than I thought.

Exactly why would anyone want to see that offensive crapfest again?

I'll go on record that I'm not afraid for us to play ANYONE. When the system decides who the next victim will be, let's line up and get it on.

Yeah but when was the last time the same division had the #1, #2, and #3 teams in the country? Answer: Never.
division no, conference yes...but it still don't matter to me...

I disagree...if there is another BCS conference champion at the end of the season with one loss they should go...
it takes away the notion of winning your conference, or at least playing in your conference title game, matters if you reward a team that couldn't even win their own division a chance to play of the NC...

Who said we are scared, I say bring em! Are you(theunknownknight) an Alabama fan in LSU clothing? Why else would you post this on SEC rant? The question is will Alabama get the chance to rematch with us or will we play Okee St.

I think we can and will beat them again. I just think it is a bullshite way to back into the game for them.
I also think that when we beat them for a second time, the excuses and butthurtedness will be of epic proportions.

Unfortunately fairness is not a part of the BCS equation. The BCS pits #1 vs #2. Simple as that.

You sound butt hurt. Really. "My" fanbase was sitting in the stands through the Hallman years and can think clearly and objectively about football. "My" fanbase realizes football is just a game and doesn't go full on tard when discussing purple and gold. "My" fanbase wasn't afraid of the number 1 team coming into Tiger Stadium in 1997.
Hippies and losers care about "fairness". Winners wanna beat the best.
Posted on 11/26/11 at 6:12 pm to theunknownknight
Bring them on. We will beat them besides our risk to reward is less than theirs. Bama would lose for the third time in a row plus lose a NC. The pressure on Bama is way more than LSU.

THIS! IMO Alabama is as good as LSU and the only thing that makes them #2 is that LSU beat them. Why would anybody think that another team would stand a better chance in the NC game? I understand the "tougher road" argument and I agree with it. But if LSU had lost on 11/5 I'd be making the argument why they are the best 1-loss team in the nation.
