Yea I hang out with good people. Sorry if you’re a loser degenerate that hangs out with loser degenerates bud. No one that I hang out with fricks people over, all of my friends are successful, come from good families, have good families, and are respected members of the community. frick you and yours playa

I can tell how righteous you & your people are by your verbose vocabulary.

He’s one of the biggest pieces of scum I’ve ever seen in my life and he didn’t give a shite about the people he screwed en route to his retirement fund. frick him
Looks like Kelly had obviously mailed it in, but you either hang out in some incredibly saintly circles or you're a loon & that is some spectacular hyperbole.

So, because it's more difficult now Gen Z shouldn't even try? Is that your stance?

That sounds an awful lot like justification for excusing undisciplined, impulsive spending habits.

FTR, both of my sons (35 & 32) own their own houses.
Justification - that's what you took from that? People sucking with money isn't a new phenomenon.

I live comfortably, and I spend very little on everyday expenses people making way less don't think twice about. I'm not commenting from a position of despair.

Life still isn't particularly financially difficult if you aren't an idiot, but cutting out every "luxury" item isn't a magic bullet. We can still acknowledge things Americans have viewed as basic necessities for generations have begun to cost more relative to income than they once did.
quote:

Yeah, you almost get it but unfortunately you don't seem to understand that what constitutes "basic necessities" has become conflated with luxury goods and entertainment expenses. The avergage younger Millennial and Gen Z'er doesn't have even the slightest concept of what differentiates "needs" from "wants".

Yep. There will be ones here only responding to her literal statement about Starbucks and not the broader concept of frivolous discretionary spending. And, no matter what, it will be the Boomers fault.

Lmao. People certainly spend money on dumb, unnecessary stuff.

But ignoring the fact that the cost of basic necessities has grossly outpaced income increases since when you were trying to do it makes you an idiot, not an enlightened geezer.
Woodward sucks. He isn't the good guy in this. If Kelly goes, he needs to go.
Guy who on multiple occasions called Kelly a home run hire is now going to act like he thought Kelly was a bad hire with multiple years of hindsight

The company is McKinsey. You're obviously well informed on the matter.
I met with their execs before anyone had ever even heard the name Venture Global, and to this day they were the most fly-by-night group of shysters I've ever seen at that level of management.

I've consistently been amazed by their ability to deliver on many of the financial and operational promises we were pitched at the company's infancy. A couple of times throughout their history I've been tempted to throw some dollars at VG; I even sold some $12 puts that thankfully expired a few weeks back.

Every time I think about opening a real position on VG I hearken back to my original thought about how slimy their execs were, so VG being complete scumbags about honoring their contracts was one of the less shocking things I've heard. How they got through Shell in arbitration is still a mystery to me, and them only now getting smacked for impropriety seems long overdue.

I love my people here but the climate and nature aspect is shite compared to the Midwest and Utah/Colorado.
I'm not sure the Midwest would be my beacon of climate and / or nature.

Right now I would take Ohio State over The Field for the National Title.
Who's going to beat them?
I mean anything is possible, but I just don't see anyone beating them
You can bet them for as much money as you'd like at <20% implied probability, so I'd suggest a hefty chunk of your net worth if you actually believe your nonsense.

I say this as someone with money on OSU to win the title.

He's just looking to make a few bucks on your hobby, baw. You're obviously a bad sport.

ETA: That's not a recent haul unless he bought someone else's collection.

It appears that you willfully choose to order brisket flat over brisket point at a BBQ joint. What an idiot

They'll be favored @KSU.

The city and its leadership is an embarrassment
So not dissimilar from the rest of the state. It has its problems but at least it’s not a completely forgettable wasteland that still experiences most of the same issues.

SWLA is the single worst part of the state if you aren’t in industrial construction or energy.
Think he is at 60% 1st serve, but he just didn’t have it today. At his height, he has to take advantage of his 1st serve. Carlos was teeing off on 2nd serve opps, and there were way too many of them. Sinner was 48% on 2nd serve opps on a hardcourt lol.
