Need to exponentially expand power distribution lines.
the ability to meet current demand growth estimates will have to be way more demand response focused than generation. the TEF has been a nightmare.

re: Does Epic Ski passes have sales?

No sales & they get progressively more expensive until they close the window to buy anything but single day lift tickets at full price. Buy as soon as you know how many days you're skiing in a season.

Where is that idiot Double Oh who embarrassed himself for a full hour last night about how Braswell would never make a defensive mistake?

Lmao. Give it a rest, dude

It seems your entire internet persona is geared towards complaining about people complaining about the refs. That’s a really queer existence.

I work in Mid-stream. Much, much better than refining. Company pays better, has much better benefits and employees are much happier. It is also a much cleaner and safer workplace than refining.

Venture global is pissing off all the majors because they have some pretty big contracts with prices which are favorable to their customers

You devote quite a bit of your post history to LSU. I'll ban bet you LSU wins a title in CFB before Ole Miss wins one in football, basketball, or baseball.

The New Orleans metro isn't 1.3MM unless you're looking at very outdated # or stretching the definition of metro far beyond what most New Orleans residents would. It's much closer to <1MM than 1.3MM. I'm not sure why you feel the need to be such a gigantic douche everywhere but the FBD threads.

It's a top food city in the entire country and no other city this small comes close.

quote:Wealth generation by non-innovators is often survivorship bias by people who just happened to get lucky a few times sequentially through no real skill of their own.
Days like today are a big reminder on sequence of returns risk. It’s the hardest thing to account for in retirement planning. Kind of a game at the casino and you just have to hope you catch it right.

re: Help me out with the definition of a sac bunt.

1st and 2nd with one out should be automatic bunt unless you’ve got Tommy white or crews at the plate.
1st and 3rd to get the safety squeeze works well too but not as much of a no brained. Just puts the defense in a pickle
re: Bill Burr goes off on billionaires: "they need to be put down like rabid dogs"

quote:if you spread out the ~$6.2T in net worth (not even liquid $ so worth far less in reality) currently held by US billionaires evenly amongst US citizens, each citizen would get less than $18,000. $18,000 isn't doing much for long-term financial outcomes for anyone.
Funny thing, you can wipe out the billionaires today, and the Millionaires would become the next target.
the US has now upended capitalism and in the process disincentivized everything from startup companies, general risk-taking, and all research & development, which thereby reduces future quality of life for every generation to follow

That difference is still pretty minimal when you compare 20 mil to someone worth billions
the quality of life difference between having zilch and $20M is much larger than $20M and $20B
eta: unless you're a dipshit who considers a 6th vacation home, mega yacht, private plane, and a 4th luxury car more valuable for comfort and happiness than simply having everything you'd ever need including food, housing, entertainment, etc. without having to worry about things like mounting credit card interest & living in terrible neighborhoods
