Who’s the best college basketball team you’ve watched?

1995-96 Kentucky. That team was stacked. Rick Pitino’s best work. They full court pressed every game. Could knock down 3’s all day.
What’s funny about that team is they lost two games that year. One was to UMass and Calipari who we then beat in the Final Four. The other was Miss State in the SEC final, who also made the Final Four but lost to Syracuse.
We played LSU in BR that season and hung 82 points in the first half. It was literally two years removed from the 31 point comeback.

Can't pick but ones stood out:
2001 Maryland---Team of destiny with no McDonald's all americans.
2005-07 UF- great chemistry
2012 UK- most talented
2018 Villanova---hottest ncaa team I've ever seen. Completely destroy competition.

That’s KU’s last title to. Ironically, they beat Calipari’s Memphis to win it to.

I believe Memphis had a lead very late in the game but kept turning the ball over or missed their free throws. Their beatdown of UNC was incredible.

In person? Probably the LSU team with Mickey and Martin. Not a lot of options to choose from for me

2011-12 Kentucky and WOULD'VE BEEN 2012-13 Indiana if they closed the deal

1996 Kentucky is the greatest team in history. We absolutely humiliated opponents.

Florida 2007, UNC 2009 and Nova 2018.

quote:That was a really strong year. I remember Arkansas playing UNC in the second round in 2008 and to this date I’ve never seen a basketball team make more shots than they did that day. I couldn’t conceive of any cbb team beating them and Kansas embarrassed them in the final four.

UCLA in the year Walton hit 21/22 shots in the championship game against Memphis; this was in 1973.
