Tennesee? Kentucky? The Vols seem to be the best hope during the regular season.

Alabama? LSU? One of these 2 will likely win the west. If Georgia loses in the SECT game, they still might get into the playoff with an undefeated regular season.

Ohio State, Michigan, and USC in the CFP? All 3 might be better than last season while Georgia will take a step back.

It will be fun to see who does and to hear their fans whine when it happens.

Why would they be better and UGA take a step back?

Dude, you know the answer. Alabama is Georgia’s kryptonite really no matter the year.

Took 2 star wide receivers, 2 drops in the end zone and over 5 drops overall to finally beat Alabama for the first time in 15 years. And you see what happens when Alabama either gets handicapped or doesn’t hate keep Georgia because of some dumb shite in the west ala Auburn or LSU.

Georgia wins 2 championships in a row :) So uhhhhh, let Alabama play Georgia more often and Georgia will win less.

Soft garbage.

OSU stood tall last year but the best chance for GA to lose is LSU or Bama

Until they get to the SEC game, they have the easiest schedule in the SEC.

Jesus.... returning to Earth and bringing about the end of time as we know it. That's about the only thing that will stop us.

Don't start that crap again. That has already been debunked. UGA had more injuries over the course of the year than Bama had and the bad play from BY had nothing to do with missing receivers. It had everything to do with our magnificent D. Heck, Bennett, who threw 2 beautiful 4th quarter TDs would not have even been playing if JT Daniels had not got hurt. Mitchell who caught one of those was playing because Pickens got hurt and Bowers who caught another one was playing because Washington had got hurt. We had injuries all year and it didn't hurt us. Good teams fight through injuries and win anyway.

Bingo. Saban remains Kirby's daddy.

So uhhhhh, why didn't Alabama play us last year? They played Tennessee and LSU like Georgia did, so where were they?

Exactly...and after what we did to LSU and UT, if we would have played Bama we would have prison-raped them so bad it would have probably made what we did to TCU look like a nail-biter.

And if you mean Georgia ... I understand spelling is optional in Columbus, OH ... the answer is Georgia.

Which is not a knock, per se, on Georgia. But it is an observation. Smart is dealing, right now, with the fall-out of lighting a candle too quick and letting it burn too hot.

Welcome to the NFL, my man. Alabama and LSU say hello.

If Kirby is Smart (pun intended) - and I'm sure he is - he'll be the biggest stop on a three-peat. To get a hold of this program and culture. No different than grabbing your kids by the collar.
