aTm is the only team with even the slightest, remote chance of the remainings and their chance is barely a blip.

LSU won a championship on January 13, 2020.

Then released Covid on the world.

Other than Bama/UGA/LSU...I would put it in the following order.

1) A&M - Hate them all you want but Jimbo is building a machine there. Their biggest obstacle is having LSU (assuming Kelly does well) and of course Bama.

2/3) UT/UF - Honestly, both programs (UT...more) are trending up. Both teams need to beat UGA. I believe Heupel is a better coach, but UF has advantages (e.g., recruiting) and more recent success.

4) Auburn - The program is a dumpster fire but never underestimate AU voodoo magic. There is a chance they will have a surprise season. Just look at their prior two runs to the NC game. Obstacle for AU is Bama and their the AU administration.

5) Arkansas - Don't underestimate Pittboss!

I just don't think Jimbo can get through the SEC West schedule. My guess would be UF. This new coach seems to be recruiting well, so players are not going to be the issue for them.

Something about TX 8&4 doesn’t add up. I don’t care that they have Jimbo or the most expensive class in history. Things just don’t add up in that hell hole. And I don’t expect them to anytime soon. Maybe I’m wrong, but I doubt it.

But most of the time when they're expected to suck they meet those expectations head on and.. suck.

I will say that I'm not sure Hogs will ever have the roster to win it all but could get close. I do think that Pittman could get his guys believing with a hot start so it's not impossible just highly unlikely.

Auburn seems to overachieve when picked low and underachieve when predicted to finish well. Can't remember when we were picked to finish last and did so.

Most years are simply...mediocre

That being said, we don't have the horses to compete for the top of the SEC right now.

From that list shown it should be A&M.

The next team from the conference to win the whole thing will either be Ala or UGA.

Don't get me wrong. AU sucks and will suck 90% of the time. That being said, AU is 4-8 against bama since 2010. I haven't looked it up but I have a feeling that's the best record against UA. I believe UGA is 1-6 in that period, yikes.

UF and Auburn are the most likely, I'd say but they're currently a long way off

Since nobody new is going to win before OU and Texas join, I would say probably one of those two schools
