LSU 13 wins against AP top 10 teams in the Orgeron era,

How many of those teams finished in the top 10? 6 I believe, with 5 coming in the 19 season.

A lot of you are trolling with Les Miles. Won a natty, and would have had another one if the pollsters hadn't fricked up so bad in 2011.

Soooo they didn't actually frick up.

Jimbo. He got very lucky with Winston then everything collapsed. I think Les Miles was a good coach when he won his NC he just wasn’t able to adjust to the newer style game the big 12 made standard. Les got Oklahoma state to be a winning program which all of us thought would never happen.

So your logic trumps all others right??? It's always been when they played them, but since it makes you melt, count em like you need so you can sleep tonight

Those of you hating on Larry Coker, what did you expect him to do? Jimmy Johnson inherited a national championship program and only won one natty in five years at Miami with a bunch of NFL talent too. Erickson won a couple of natties with someone else’s players and then ran the program off the road. Butch Davis revived the program but didn’t win a natty in spite of having the talent to do so in 2000.

So should Coker have won big indefinitely? If he had gotten the call against OSU on the 4th down play and wins undefeated B2B natties in his first two years, does he go from shite to a good coach?

He still counts Miami and Texas as top 10 wins.

O wouldn’t have won in 2019 if he didn’t have Aranda and Brady

I hate when people make these ridiculous arguments. We can play the 'what if' game with every damn championship team/coach there's ever been. Bill Belichick wouldn't be considered one of the greatest coaches ever if he didn't have Tom Brady! You see how easy that is?

When did you people start to think you could redefine what a top 10 win is? I’ve seen people try this before and there is zero logic behind it. That kind of reasoning would suggest that losing to one of these opponents would be better than knocking them down in the rankings by beating them. And what is a team supposed to do, reschedule during the season so they could beat the teams who replaced the top 10 teams they already beat? Do you realize how insane the position you’re taking is?
