People can shite on him all they want but he has NFL arm talent and waited behind Stetson for three years before getting to start then came one game away from getting a chance to play for it in 2023, had no one make a catch in 2024 then got injured. I feel for the guy.

Everybody is obviously pulling for Hoosiers except the people in south Florida.

Indiana. If they win it, no excuses for any school to not be competitive.
Yep, just make Mark Cuban an alumnus and fan of your program.

Have to live next door to the Hoosiers. Go Canes!

Doesn’t matter who you want. IU is going to demolish the Canes and coked out Irvin on national television

Also...and this is big...your 24 year old knows this is his last season. You know he isnt being distracted by one of your conference rivals negotiating with him IN SEASON

Especially on the lines and probably QB. The 5 Star 18-year-old skill player is more likely to contribute at a high level.

I'm going to the game and I really don't know who I will be cheering for still
There are some broader implication/trolling reasons I lean Miami even though they are cringe. Georgia fans will be insecure about Beck winning it after leaving. Bama fans won't have the built in "we got blown out, but they beat everybody" excuse about their game against Indiana. It'll hurt UF with in-state recruiting. But does that outweigh how insufferable (and potentially dangerous) a "back" Miami is? Probably not.

If Indiana doesn't mudhole the fightin' Crystal balls then their entire dream season is for naught.
Since the NFL likely snaps up Cignetti sooner or later so he won't be a long term threat, gimme Indy by 20+ points.

Who are you pulling for in the national championship?
I said it elsewhere but I'm hoping Miami's backup leads them to victory after Carson Beck is benched for throwing his 3rd INT of the half.
I think Cignetti + Cuban bucks is something we don't want to see. Very skeered of that TBH

Indiana
By some sort of controversial close ending like the 2002 Miami vs Ohio State championship game
Because it would give un underdog a championship and make the crazy Miami fans lose their marbles
