Tulsa the city is nice enough, still small but some things today.

But man go five minutes out of the city and you are very clearly in Oklahoma.

That's a big ol' hell no. Have fun with the taters if you go that direction. You definitely won't have to see many of us if you want to avoid Gamecocks in general.

SC, GA, ALA, Tenn, KY, FLA, TX, OK, MO.
All of these states have plenty of beautiful places, though every nice (climate) part of Texas is probably too crowded for me.

I live in the Florida Panhandle, I ain’t moving.

30 minutes from my boat on a lift at a family camp on Perdido Bay,

40 minutes to a deer stand.

Kid plays baseball for a high school powerhouse that he loves.

If I ever left Oxford:

Would move to:
1. Arkansas
2. Texas

Would not ever move any of the others - especially not to Louisiana.

Would not:
Missouri (In-laws live there)
Alabama
Texas

Would:
Kentucky (Bourbon)
South Carolina
Arkansas (Home)

I use to travel to Columbia at least once a month for various reasons and can honestly say that Columbia had zero redeeming qualities. I would go to Chapin or PSA or FN or to campus for various reasons regularly and the nothing about it could inspire me to live there. I like Fudruckers had 2 bad experiences in a row stopped going to that one. I enjoy driving, I20 from Augusta to Columbia was little better than a wagon trail with worse drivers than Atlanta. The kids love a zoo, Columbia has a worse zoo experience than the old south of the border petting zoo was. The roads in Columbia, garbage. But the people were nice and friendly right? Terrible staff at restaurants and shops.

Columbia is a pretty city that always looked better in the rear view mirror.

Already in Texas so cant move there...

Would move to:
South Carolina
Ozark area straddling northern Arky/southern MO
Parts of TN (not Memphis)

Would not move to:
Louisiana (whole state)
TN around Memphis
MO north of the Ozarks

The other states all have nice areas and not so nice areas, so depends on the part of the state in question.

Would move to:

Tennessee - yes, I fricking hate the Vols but our states are twins. Living there is the same as living here in Kentucky.

South Carolina - been there plenty. Would probably choose to live closer to the North Carolina border and the mountains than the beach, but you do have pretty fast access to get to the beach if you want to.

Mississippi - find me a good spot in a smaller town with good food and music and I'll be happy. Always felt like Mississippi State fans were good folks and Id get along just fine with those baws.

Would not move to:
Florida - too crowded, too many yankees. No city there appeals to me, except maybe Miami and Im too old to e joy the partying there like I would have in my twenties.

Arkansas - Ive never been there. So this isnt really fair. It might be awesome.

Missouri - Ive been to St Louis and Kansas City plenty and hsve no desire to live in either. Some beautiful places there, especially in the Ozarks, but their small towns dont offer anything more than Kentucky's. Good people there, but not Southern enough.

Reality is Id be fine in any of the SEC states.

But if I had to move from Kentucky my choices would be Tennessee, West Virginia, North Carolina or Virginia.

Would move to:
Texas
South Carolina (coast)
Florida (coast)
Tennessee (Nashville only)
Kentucky (Lexington only)

Would not move to:
The rest

Georgia , Florida and Texas are, by far, the best SEC states.

there are nice parts of every SEC state. Missouri is probably the one I would least like to move to...only because Texas isn't part of the SEC yet.

That may be one of the best discrete low blows I’ve ever seen delivered to aTm and no one commented on it until now?

Better way of looking at it would be which areas of each SEC state would you want to or not want to move to.

For example, Alabama is going to make the top 3 of a lot of "not live there" states and for perfectly justifiable reasons yet switch "Alabama" with "Baldwin County, AL" and you'd get a lot of top 3 to move to answers. I live in Fairhope, AL 100 yards from Mobile Bay and you'd be hard pressed to find more than a couple of small towns nicer or more pretty in the entire SEC footprint nicer than this area
