Off szn thread, but...

I'd have no problem moving to any SEC state other than Florida and Kentucky. Kentucky is cold for too long and Florida is too humid for too long. If I didn't have ties Georgia I wouldn't consider living here because Atlanta is a cancer turning this state into a shithole.

Our strategy continues to work perfectly.
Mississippi is actually the best place to live but we have continually tricked people into believing otherwise. Occasionally someone moves here and they find out our secret.

So please keep downgrading us.

Without Atlanta, Georgia would be Mississippi.

Good. Stay out of Oklahoma. I am on a mission to own as much of SE Oklahoma as I can. I already can't see a building I don't own from my property and working on more.

1. Missouri (Ozarks area)
2. E. Tenneseee/E.Kentucky (same diff)
3. Texas, as long as it was southwest, hillcountry or desert.

I would not move to:

1. Mississippi
2. Louisiana
3. Alabama

Best part of Oklahoma, topographically. Ouachitas and hardly any people.

Oklahoma isn't a bad state. Only when you get past Tulsa does it get windy and desolate.

I like Oklahoma and would move there if we had any family or relatives there. Just ran into a couple at an AM/PM store while getting coffee who are planning to move to Oklahoma. Plus, my banker and her husband are planning to move there, too.

I also like South Carolina, Arkansas and Kentucky.

Here in California, the states I've heard most often that people are moving to are Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, Texas, Arizona and Idaho.

It's working really well. Mississippi and Louisiana are the only SEC states losing population.

But there are decent places to live in Mississippi.

Good thread!

If had to move….

1. Always liked South Carolina
2. Lived in FL- was ok would do again
3. Louisiana- Cajun appeals to me

Love Texas- a ton of different kind of places to live, and almost all with really good people. Coastal, Cosmopolitan, Remote desert, Hill Country, Piney woods, West Tx Plains….

Every SEC state has areas I would live in. I prefer rural small/medium size towns I’m not a city person. Just give me an area that’s safe with friendly people, nearby lake, river, ocean for fishing and places to hunt. A few good local restaurants and a couple good bars.

I don’t need suburban or chain restaurant/corporate America. frick all of that
