Jarheads everywhere. Great area though. Loved my time at Lejeune, weekends in Wilmington or Greenville. Coeds there were awesome.

The distilleries are in Kentucky and they are an awesome experience. Also - most have versions you can't get in the store.

I’ve lived in 4 SEC states and currently reside in El Paso, TX. I don’t love it here but don’t really hate it, I just miss grass, water, and trees.

Move to: Tennessee (Eastern), South Carolina (Greenville area, lived there and loved it), Arkansas
Never: Alabama, Mississippi, Missouri

It is. We spent a weekend in Louisville a few weeks back and enjoyed the vibe of the city. Definitely planning a return trip.

Only SEC state I couldn't see living in is Missouri. The rest all have good and bad places.

Oh interesting.

But I can still drive there, buy it and not have to live in Kentucky, right?

Good. Stay the hell out. The more you and all the other frickers stay out of my state the better off we'll be.

Would NOT under any circumstances move to Louisiana.

Had a place on Claiborne before. Would be fine with a place on Claiborne or D'arbonne, but not to live. Lots of places I like to visit, but none I'd want to live in.

1)Florida-in upper Keys, but have alot of friends in Tampa area, so that'd be ok too.

2)Kentucky-in a houseboat on Lake Cumberland.

3)Tennessee-some beautiful country once you survive your trip through Memphis, but a stop is required for BBQ.

Hell...I'd live in all of them before I'd move North. There's a spot in all of them I could call home and love it. God bless the SEC and southern living.

I’ve lived in quite a few.

Would:
Texas, Georgia, Florida, maybe Tennessee

Would not:
Louisiana (been there done that), Mississippi (same), and the rest are boring.

Agreed. My in laws lived Somerset for awhile. It's a beautiful state. My dad had a racing form in my hand as soon as I could read and the Kentucky Derby was a famiily holiday. College basketball is my favorite sport, but for the life of me, I don't think I could ever be a Kentucky fan. Despite what others may say, Kentucky is still the south in most places.

If it weren't for the water and the weather in the upper Keys, I'd move Kentucky to number one. But I love hunting as much as fishing...damn, this is harder than it seems.

Weve got more miles of freshwater shoreline than Florida has shoreline.

Fishing and houseboats on the lake....hard to beat. Plenty of good hunting in Kentucky.

There's a few diamonds in the rough in every state. It all depends on the people, and I can say that after living in several states.

I'd rather live in an area that has good people who recognize the value in each other. Those places exist all over. Stereotypes don't carry the rule here.
