We expanded in 1992.
They call it the Big 6 and not the Big 5 for a reason. You high this morning?

Cotton Bowl records were set the last time we played on the field. Try harder.

Aggie hasn't won a conference championship (Big 12) since 1998 and even that team lost three games.

Have appreciated multiple SEC championships from my alma mater. But, those can’t compete with how much I’d enjoy a Texas championship in any of the Big 3.

2001 for me,
me too, totally unexpected--esp. after Rohan went down. Still probably my favorite overall game for pure enjoyment and looking at all those roses left by TN fans after the game.

2001 LSU's SEC title remains my favorite one. Totally unexpected. For me it signaled that LSU was going to be a force in the SEC going forward. And LSU has been.

Auburn did it as well [beat Florida twice in a season]. Anyone else?
LSU never had the chance. Every time they got to Atlanta they played either Georgia or Tennessee. They did beat Georgia twice in 2003.

Expansion or no expansion, those same 6 teams have won every SEC title since JFK was assassinated- except for 1 fluke year by Kentucky, of all teams...

History says we will now have a Big 8 and a little 8. If Florida and Auburn can get up off the mat (maybe) and Texas and OU can compete (I think they can and will but then I'm not a hater).

UK "won" the SEC years later due to NCAA forfeits.

It's a tie between 2009 against Tebow/Urban/UF and the last 3 against Georgia.

What a great atmosphere at the Georgia Dome that day. It was crazy coming out of that building after the win chanting L-S-U ... L-S-U. Lot of orange roses left on the ground
