I only do this with LSU fans and I ask where they’re from
I don’t approach random people wearing bama, Kentucky etc to talk about sports

I was on the Katy Trail recently. Some Arkansas fan saw my LSU T-shirt and gave me a “Whoo Pig”, all I could do was laugh.

Yes. Aggy weirdos are all like this. They have a massive inferiority complex towards LSU & Texas fans.
They can’t stand that a random guy with zero ties to the university would be a big fan of the fb team. The state pride isn’t a factor to them.

The first thing I ask a Kentucky fan is who is your college football team and why is it Bama or Georgia.
Before Bama got Oates, I used to ask their fans is who is your college basketball team and why is it Duke.
40 years ago, I used to work with a dude from Indiana. This was when Bobby Knight was winning. He was a ND football and IU basketball fan. I would ask him why that wasn't in reverse. He never would give me an answer.
Mid 90s when THE POPE was a cowgirls fan, I'd ask every dork who was wearing cowgirl's gear who their QB was before Aikman, then watch as their eyes glazed over, having no clue how to answer.
I absolutely CANNOT stand front running fans.
