This is weird behavior. They’re normal people, treat them as such.
Who needs Tommy when you already have a Savage.
He’s getting the same amount as any other analyst with his experience would, a Tahoe and health insurance. Nice little landing pad until he retires.

But LSU still has bad blood with that guy for promoting the idea that USC was somehow a dual champion in 2003.

A head coach promoting his team? I am shocked.

We all saw Nick Saban raise that crystal ball and USC just had coastal media outlets pumping up their paper championship. No one speaks about LSU and Nick Saban only getting half a title because it wasn’t a fluke for them to be there.

If Kiffin wants to bring in Pete Carrol to hang around the team for weeks at a time, all for it.

the correct behavior is to use your fricking brain and maybe have a little empathy.

With lightning visible, the correct behavior is to clear the stadium. That staff doesn’t care that LSU or any other schools season just ended. Their job is to clear the bleachers, tarp the field and go home to do it all over again today. Empathy takes a back seat to common sense. It be one thing if security was kicking the players off the field, but it’s some fathers that can be waiting outside the bus or at the hotel to hug it out.
11p, it’s raining and lightning, the security is just trying to do what is required in that situation. Baw and Maw filming can just go wait underneath the stadium or near the team busses for their kid. They would’ve inevitably spent another hour or so, it’s safety concern at that point.

He’s not bad at recruiting which is what he was hired for

LSU is probably going to pay $300k/year and Ed gets health insurance. Doesn’t hurt to have him on staff.

The Pat Fordes of the sports media world

Pat Forde is/was the mouthpiece for Calipari and LSU was outbidding Kentucky for players.

Pat Forde also wasn’t mad that his daughter lost to Lia Thomas.
Maybe it’s a vacuum created by social media algorithms, but he’s been painted in the most vile light possible. You have coaches that allowed players to continue after being accesories to murder, coaches that are on record taking mistresses to get abortions and coaches that have been caught cheating at multiple stops, but the worst is Wade for playing within the loose parameters of a failing system.
There are prominent coaches that have members of the media that will fall on the sword for them and say whatever the coach wants.

A fair amount of those members of the media also tend to have a liberal bias. Will Wade was hired by what can be considered a very conservative group from LSU.

Interesting Layla has a house, but Lane is still looking for his

He’s living in one of Todd Graves properties. The house he found fell through. I’m sure he’s looking for something with enough space to accommodate recruiting, team events as well as his hobbies.
DJ Lemahieu is the head coach of the Royal Oak Leprechauns in the Northwoods League. Hopefully they send some players his way to work on fundamentals.
MLB teams can sign those players at birth.

They only won four Game 3s in conference play (some of which weren’t on a Sunday) and the last weekend of the season always ends on Saturday.
He did move to the Juice Kiffin burner.

I’m sure Sankey made a call and told him to temper things for the next few weeks.

His thesis was on the beaches of Galveston.

Kiffin is using U High to pay more NIL to LSU prospects if they come play their senior season there.

That’s one way to piss off some high school coaches.

Brady took a chance coming to LSU and it paid dividends. If he wanted to stay at LSU in 2020, he wouldn’t have immediately jumped back to the league.
