A few years later the defensive players decided to start their own "tradition" with No. 7

Highsmith assigned it.
Peterson assigned it.
Tyrann wore because of PP7
Fournette wore for 7th ward
DJ Chark switched to it.

Ponamsky decided to make it a thing.
Giles failed

Put it back in rotation and an athlete will wear.
And I hope that the game time for this contest at the previous place he worked at is the time he complained about never being able to get at the previous place he worked at.
Rev share for everything other than football and basketball should be based on who loses the least amount of money.

Who cares as long as we don’t have to take on any Ole Miss traditions?

Cookie will be on the sidelines with the fire extinguisher.
7 naturally ended up in a good players hands because athletically, skilled players that come to LSU are great. Put in on Pickett and be done with it and then put back in cycle. It doesn’t need to be best player from Louisiana because it was never about that.

Trev Faulk
Adrian Mayes
Ali Highsmith
Pat Pete
Tyrann wanted to wear it because of Pat.
Leonard wore it for the 7th ward

And that’s when things went off the rails.
Give Weeks 18 and Pickett 7 for the next two years.

But the magic of the old Box!
Transfer portal with immediate play began in April 2021 and NIL began four months later. Hope you’re not that naive to think schools weren’t already positioning themselves for July 1.

So please tell me where I was wrong when I said it affected LSU initially being one season behind the 8 ball.

That they let that clown wear coaches’ garb is insulting.

Fact that he was a convicted felon and allowed to be near the staff was one thing. Then add that he was chief of staff, seemed to handle all coaching interviews during Covid and was in charge of NIL initially was how you got the final two years of the Orgeron era.

I thought I read A&M was building something as well. No matter, he's been promised they'll get working on the facility for at least 3 years now and it's been put on hold.

LSU supposedly had a series of upgrades in place pre COVID that have been shelved. I don’t want to derail the thread, but the facilities could use an upgrade in totality. Every 15-20 years and then give Jay the newest technology to keep him ahead of everyone on and off the field.
Surprised they didn’t wait another couple weeks to limit his days so he couldn’t qualify for a year of service.

Where are there new club seats?

Shouldn’t have said club, but the 158 field seats that are broken up into 36 loge boxes.
Off the dome, Arkansas does and State will not have to share the Palmeiro center once football builds a new indoor.
He wants an indoor and upgrades to pitching lab.

he got them to move the bullpens.

And LSU could’ve used the revenue from the new club seats be put towards facilities.

We need to stop building this narrative that the program isn’t getting what they need to compete.

Jay has been asking for some upgrades for five years now and there seems to be no updates.

I have a feeling LSU going to hang 50 on Ole Miss. Kiffin going to put the hurting on them. Believe that.

He won’t hesitate to drop 70 if he can.
Piper Hutchinson - Louisiana Illuminator. There prob is someone else pulling the strings.
She’s positioning this for smear campaigns when the 2027 elections come around.
Female, liberal hack reporter is trying to play gotcha with LSU/Landry.

She doesn’t cover sports and thinks the state is funding LSU athletics.

Jay ain’t going anywhere. Dude has the keys to a Bugatti and knows how to drive.

Jay has been asking for new toys and he’s seeing how much LSU is investing in other sports.
