They can’t stand that a random guy with zero ties to the university would be a big fan of the fb team. The state pride isn’t a factor to them.

I don't talk to people I don't know. Might give a polite nod if they're wearing OU gear.

Do you approach strangers who are wearing SEC gear? Not my style. I've seen BAMA fans everywhere I've traveled, and that has been extensive. There's always a Roll Tide! from someone who gets the conversation started, and someone always wants to know where you are from—otherwise, no big deal.

Why are so many on here struggling with the words “when you meet someone”? Walking past a person, seeing a person, ignoring a person, wearing anything, isn’t meeting them.

The question was, and I suppose still is, what do you ASK a SEC fan? I will say hello to an LSU fan, but have no interest in a Q and A. That's just me.
But if I had a mind to, I suppose I could ask them why y'all just can't beat BAMA in Baton Rouge, like forever.
