I always route for LSU no matter what.

The schools that are truly serious about winning big have been PISSING all over the rule book for decades.

It's high time we join them.
What your talking about sounds like a CBA. And yes, THAT is the only thing that will return things to some semblance of fairness.

Only the schools that are serious should/will be included in this. Basically the top 30-40 AT MOST.

Curley's team did that once also back in my younger days.

When you play the game on planet earth, always defer.
Do you think we should have paid players under the table for decades like we have in football and men's basketball? Or should we only win the honorable way?

I don't mean this to sound like an attacking question even though it probably comes across that way.

I'm genuinely curious about your view on that, and if it's consistent with you being against LSU using the court system like all the other schools that take winning seriously are.

It's amazing how many down votes you got for this post.

In the history of football, late in the 2nd quarter, do you think a HC has ever screamed into his headset: "Hot damn!!!!!!!!! We get to KICKOFF to start the 3rd quarter boys!!!!!!!!"

That's NEVER HAPPENED. It's one of the biggest and most overlooked advantages in a football game to receive the ball starting the 3rd quarter.

They're wrong about Luis.

The Honorable Clayton R BOUDREAUX will be presiding over his case Monday morning.
Which is why Wade has been smiling and relaxed this whole time.

He knows Landry has his judge in place.
MK, c'mon now.

You know that coaching staff UNDER JAY WRIGHT most likely ignored the lofty ethical standards that Coach Jay DRILLED IN THEIR HEADS CONSTANTLY, and just went all rogue on him!

Just like that Conor dude was screaming out opponents plays and formations on the sidelines to the Michigan coordinators, and poor Coach Harbaugh knew nothing about that.

I'm positive it was like that for Coach Jay, because I have it on good authority that he just REFUSES to cheat.

Do YOU know what it means when Brian Antoine spurned BILL SELF, Duke, and UNC to sign with Villanova?

To peope who deal in reality, it means Villanova OUTBID (or at least were in the ballpark) with those schools to sign him ILLEGALLY.

Or maybe Antoine signed with Nova and decided he didn't want the cash that was UNDOUBTEDLY offered by those other 3 schools. Perhaps Brian just isn't a fan of cash?

Let's not forget Mr Antoine was the #12 recruit in the country and listed as a 5 star by ESPN the year he signed with holier than thou Coach Jay.

By the way, I haven't even BEGUN to dig into Wright's other blue chip players and who their finalists in addition to Nova were. I may just do that.
Madking!

This is Jay BLANKING Wright you're disparaging here. He was quoted in the article you linked as saying he tries to do things the right way at Villanova. What, you don't believe him?

Jdawg sure does. I bet he's heard Wright tell him the same thing face to face, so there's no way he's lying.

A lot of schools, especially the basketball first ones, had the infrastructure set up for the cheating, allowing the HC to maintain plausible deniability.

Dale had this setup years ago. Our football team has had it for decades. These athletes being called amateurs has been a joke forever.

Jdawg has missed that memo. No, he's actually IGNORING it.
Given the history of Louisiana politics, what are the odds that we don't have this case in front of the exact judge we want for a positive ruling?

Isn't it highly likely that this dude owes Landry a favor? Maybe an appointment somewhere better for his brother, since this judge is retiring? Are all judges elected in Louisiana? I truly don't know. How about Louisiana Supreme Court judges? Does Landry appoint those?

Landry for whatever reason seem to be all aboard team LSU. And i bet he usually gets what he wants through the judicial system.
Jay "Sgt Schultz" Wright. One of the good guys that didn't have to cheat to win. A five leaf clover if you will.

I see you've adopted the "he didn't know about it so he's clean" point of view. Very convenient for Coach Jay.

Bryan Antoine's final list of schools before he chose to sign with Villanova for ZERO ILLEGAL BENEFITS included Duke ( the school that is well known to be as dirty as ANYONE among your own EYBL coaching peers), Kansas, and UNC.

Are you defending Duke as clean, which you know is absolute BULLSPIT? If so, that's crazy, but I'll give you that.

How bout Kansas with BILL SELF and UNC. Are they clean? If not, I guess ole Bryan turned down the ILLEGAL CASH those schools offered and said: "nah, I'm good yo. I'ma go play for coach Jay for STRICTLY ROOM, BOARD , AND TUITION."

I guess Jay didn't offer Bryan anything illegal, but those doggone "friends of the program" that coach Jay despises so much cuz ya know, he's clean and all, did because they just can't help themselves?

I bet Coach Jay would be MORTIFIED if he knew this was done on his behalf. Am I right?
I don't think, but I know that Jay Wright has had his program put on probation by the NCAA, with Wright IN CHARGE of that program.

I guess you maintain that the "nothing burger" violation was the only thing that's been done illegally in his program over the years, right?

You gave me Few, Wright, and Bennett as 3 names that ran CLEAN PROGRAMS and still won big. Getting specific like that is where you flucked up.

When the NCAA has PLACED YOUR PROGRAM ON PROBATION FOR CHEATING, you lose that rep of doing it the right way, hoss.

You've already dug your hole too deep to get out of. You made the idiotic statement about the "clean 3" in order for you to keep pretending like Wade was one of the few renegades that dared to cheat in big time college basketball.

When any rational person that pays attention has known that world has been a CESSPOOL of rule breakers FOR DECADES.

Wade did what he had to do, which is what every other coach has done that wins consistently.

OR, they have it done for them, via the "Sgt Schultz" method. Any way you slice it, they all have to do it, or they don't win.

I'm PRAYING for your sake that you're just "going down with the ship fighting " and aren't really this naive.

I can't speak for others on the rant, but to me, you sound completely genuine when you state that you're rooting for Wade to win a national title at LSU.

I just wish he'd run his program cleanly like Jay Wright did while winning it all.

In spite of the 2 year PROBATION PENALTY Wright received at Villanova from the NCAA in 2004. Everyone knows that was BS. Runs a clean program I've been told.

Here's a legit 100% true anecdote I can relate to you and others about Jay:

I was at a Boo Williams EYBL event in Hampton, VA (you were probably there also if you aren't full of prune juice about being an EYBL coach) a decade or so back and this lady was sitting next to us and screaming and waving "Coach Jay!!!"

Wright was down in the roped off coaches seating and responded quickly and apologetically: "I love ya, but I can't talk to you right now", and gave here the palms up "oh shucks" gesture.

I took that to mean that the recruiting calendar was in a period where the coaches could watch the players but not speak to them or their family.

So he knows how to appear clean in a public setting.

Just like all the other con men that win big in college basketball.
What do you specifically not like about Wade's coaching?

"Randomly."

You new to Louisiana politics baw?
You're 100% correct.

I just need it explained to me how an EYBL coach TRULY believes that any top players on that circuit were going to school with zero illegal benefits.

Of course the head man at these colleges isn't cheating. He is having it done on his program's behalf though.

These dudes are over the top control freaks. There is NOTHING going on as far as boosters, shoe companies etc.. that they aren't allowing to go on.
