re: Nuss on why he didn't transfer: 'I felt like it was my duty and job to stay at LSU'

I won't argue with you, because I'm obviously not inside Garrett's head. But he would be a stronger man than almost anyone (myself included) if he didn't move on to greener pastures with no chance at playing time.
And by the way, he always had a path to start at LSU. He knew when Jayden left he'd...

I'm not sure you got the gist of my post. I was commenting on everyone kissing Nuss's arse about how he "stuck it out" and he's a "true tiger".
My point was he only stayed here because he saw a clear and legitimate path to being the starting QB at LSU, arguably (especially with a competent coach)...

Preach, brother. I'm sure Nuss loves LSU, and is thrilled to be the starting QB in BR, and I think he will have a great (potential Heisman) year in 2024.
But it's laughable how many people think he would still be here if 2-3 years ago he had the EXACT SAME amount of eligibility left as Jayden Dan...

Outside of ZERO SCHOOLS. The program has overcome two VILLAGE IDIOTS to win national titles.
LSU makes the coach. The coach doesn't make LSU .
With all that being said, just think if we had a good coach since Saban left. We would have a handful more titles....

re: Do you know a Raiders season ticket holder? (USC game related)

My son bought them through StubHub or the like. We wanted midfield, not too high up, but then I read another poster that said anything above row 7 in the 300 section was no good. We're in 312 row 16. I think/hope 16 wouldn't be terribly different from row 7....

My son and I have tickets in section 312 row 16. Are those really that bad? They're 9 rows past the first 7 rows. I've never been there. ...

$1.398 per ticket. HUGE source of revenue for the AD. Also, minimal at best TV coverage/revenue.

re: No Booze sales allowed at MELLENcamp show

I just went to his show last night in Norfolk, VA. He was pretty damned good for 72, and his band was tight.
He got a little preachy with a speech and a song about the homeless situation in America. Which to me seems a big help would be to vote red instead of blue like he's stupidly done his ...

Well he's LIBERAL AS FLUCK, so him hating his life certainly checks out.
That being said, I've always liked his music a lot, and I'm going to seem him for the first time next Sunday in Norfolk, VA.
I've never been a drinker, so that doesn't bother me....

Doesn't matter who what when why or where. The misses fall on the HC.
Kinda of a coincidence how the coaches that win big seem to have less misses than the ones who don't.

You always have your occasional Jeffersons and Mathieus that are underrated by the recruiting services.
Like I tell my syracluse buddy who always points out their OCCASIONAL Zaire Franklins or Andre Ciscos: when you build your entire class on hopes and prayers, you become irrelevant for 25 years ...
re: April 8,1994 was the day Kurt Loder announced the death of Kurt Cobain on MTV

I was at several places that day and everywhere I went the sound was either off or really low on the TVs there.
I kept seeing Cobain performing on those TVs all day, then heard he died when I got home. It then made sense why I was seeing him all day....

A lot of posters here can't read between the lines.
I ran into a buzz saw here when I told everyone a couple summers back that Daniels would start at QB.
Not from any inside information I had. I just knew he wasn't gonna spend his last two years here without being told the job was his.

He can't explain. Neither can the other idiots that repeat that ridiculous mantra about Wade not being a good x/o coach.
This ain't middle school or lesbian basketball. The top coaches recruit TALENT. Then they put that talent in the best position to win. There are overall team concepts, but none...

Are you serious Clark???
Bama gives ZERO FLUCKS about public perception. They just want to win. Something our administration should take a few classes on.

Every school competing in the BIG TWO sports at a high level is guilty and filthy to...

These were my sentiments also. I was really hoping we'd hire Kiffin.
BK never crossed my mind as an option. If I'd known he was available, I would have wanted him. It worked out in the end. BK is about to wreck shite....
