There's also a fourth, and don't even think for a second that this has gone away:

Under the table payments.
They're calling me mean names mommie!!!!!

That's one of the biggest problems in our country today. We have too many girlie men who can't handle the SLIGHTEST bit of criticism.

If we'd have had this mentality with our troops on DDAY, we'd all be speaking Portugese now.
Believe me that's not me.

I've often laughed at posters on here over the years who say "they're out to get us."

I've just seen it too much lately. In Wade's last year here, 10 minutes into every game we'd have 8 fouls to our opponents 2. Also, Gay Bilas, Prick Vitale, etc... just CONSTANTLY BURYING Wade over his misdeeds, while completely ignoring Duke, Pitino, Calapari, because they're "in the club".

National papers/writers are CRUCIFYING us over the Kiffin situation, and I know that's because they're scared of what's coming over the next decade. It doesn't mean it isn't happening, however.

The general public likes LSU (I wear my LSU gear up here in VB, VA and CONSTANTLY get geaux tigers), but the media DEFINITELY has a bias against us.

I used to laugh at that thought, but I've seen it too much for it to be just a coincidence.
I've read your bullshite on here for a while now. You are nowhere near a conservative.
The most ironic aspect of your existence is that I'm POSITIVE you don't realize how much of a weak, pathetic PUSSY you are.

By definition, ALL libtards are.

I have lived in VB, VA since 1980.

I was working as a Pizza Hut driver back then, and fortunately had a cool boss.

He allowed me to go on break for the ENTIRE game, and I listened to this game in my car on WWL AM (it came in crystal clear at night, even that far away).

I remember being so pissed that we fell behind that far, but it's one of the most exciting LSU games I had listened to.

When I got home after midnight, after watching the highlights, then I understood how awesome Faulk was that night. He pretty much willed that comeback for us.
You're right. I admit when I'm wrong.

I reread, and by year 11 he won a national title.

I don't care where they started, if you take the first TEN YEARS of each coaches record, Wade CLEARLY out performed him.

However, that doesn't matter, Wade has put in 12 years which is where we are at. Again, I got it wrong the first time when I checked K's record.

By the way, I NEVER claimed he'd go on to that type of career, just comparing (incorrectly it turns out) their first 12 seasons. K is clearly the best coach EVER.
I made a mistake here, and will admit I was wrong. I just rechecked K's record, and he made the Final Four AND won the national title in his 11th season.

I'll take the loss on this one.
You act like he's been an NCAA HC for 40 years.

Compare Wade's record (thus far) to almost any successful HC's first 12 seasons. At which stop was he not a great success?

He compares very well to most. In fact, how many coaches can you find who accomplished what Wade has (or more) in his first 12 years as a HC. I would guess less than ten percent of coaches you could research have.

Just for laughs, compare Coach K's first 12 years as a HC and let me know how much better he performed than Wade.
What else can it be??? Please help me out with other LOGICAL reasons.

Because it SURE AS FLUCK ain't this mortician's performance as our head basketball coach.

People that don't want to see this program thrive (for whatever reason), would be perfectly happy with McMahon staying right where he is, correct????
So you actually believe a coach needs 4 years to revitalize a basketball program?

Why not 5? 10? Heck why not 15 years to get it rolling?

The acceptance of LESS THAN mediocrity on this board is embarrassing.
It just boggles the mind that anyone would defend McMahon.

Even without competitive NIL support his first 3 years (which is HIGHLY DEBATABLE), a good coach would show consistent signs of maximizing whatever talent he had. McMahon has never exhibited this trait.

Wade in his second game at LSU beat top 10 ranked Michigan, and was consistently competitive his entire tenure here, and everywhere he's been for that matter.

There are only 2 logical explanations why we have the everything is rosy crowd with McMahon.

1) McMahon's supporters really don't like basketball, they're "baseball bros" in disguise. They realize (rightfully so), that if the sleeping giant that is LSU basketball is ever awake, it'll reduce their precious baseball program to the margins it deserves to be in. ZERO major sports program's fan base prioritize baseball over football or men's basketball except for the LSU fan base.

2) They're racist, and don't want to see LSU basketball awakened. If you doubt this, take note of the multiple "where is Zipper" threads, and all of the threads blowing Mackinnon when he's a decent, but nothing special player.

These McMahon "supporters " could belong to either or both of the above groups.
Not here home slice.

I go all the way back to Ethan Martin, Astronaut, HiC, Cookie Man, Rudy, and Willie Sims. I grew up with Dale and LSU basketball in the 80s, and loved that man.

I'm as big of a Wade guy as there is , and I know it's just MOTHERFLUCKING CRAZY on my part, but something about the 14-40 just doesn't sit right. I mean, who could possibly want to change coaches after an impressive record like that?????

Ya see, I like it win LSU WINS CONSISTENTLY. When we make the tournament EVERY FLUCKING YEAR.

I don't know what to tell you if you failed to see the turnaround Wade orchestrated here in BR. At lightning speed.

He was going to be another Dale here, (who by the way took a lot longer to get the program rolling than Will did). Or probably even a Scott Drew type who didn't win a national title until season 18 at Baylor.

And that would have been JUST FINE at LSU. But instead, we get to enjoy this TRAVESTY of a "coach" that losers on this board scramble to defend at all costs.

The NCAA has been told REPEATEDLY (over at least the last 20 years) to shut the fluck up and go sit in the corner by administrations WITH BALLS. Our administration just bends over, fires a WINNER, and takes it FOR NO REASON!!!!!!

So you're down for Wade investing around $500k of HIS OWN CASH to "get the ball rolling" on his initial illegal recruiting efforts at LSU.

What is your estimate of the personal funds he used at VCU and Chattanooga?

Because that MOTHERFLUCKER WRECKED shite at every stop. You have to pay for players to do that.

Also, in your "estimation " have any other college coaches raided THEIR OWN personal retirement accounts in order to be successful? Or do you think Wade is just an outlier in that?

So you actually believe Wade used his PERSONAL cash to buy, Naz, Javonte , Emmett, Tremont, etc... ??

He made a little over $2 million annually?? He would net roughly half of that after taxes and agent? Do you believe he had seven figures (liquid) upon taking the LSU job to fund his new team? Maybe he raided his 401k/IRA?? Try again.

Do you have an explanation for how Wade raised the funds for the various blue chip recruits that played for him at LSU? These recruits led to a tenure that even you would have to say was better than our current coach's tenure, right?

Why hasn't McMahon procured this funding during his first 3 years here? Could reasonable people agree Wade WOULD HAVE somehow, some way gotten better funding than McMahon the last 3 years in order to win more games?

Ya see, I believe WINNERS have a way of overcoming obstacles and do what it takes to succeed. LOSERS have posters like you making every excuse known to man for why they just can't get it done.

And more importantly, do you think this LOSER (14-40) you constantly defend would have procured similar funds if he had been here during Wade's tenure INSTEAD OF Wade?
It was at Tiger Stadium and we beat Kentucky 49-0. It might have been 2006.
It's also another way of putting "being happy with a hind tit sucking program."
