The two times I’ve been in the Super Dome: 1/9/12 and 1/13/20.

Exorcised a lot of demons that second time around.

I was at the National Championship game in 2020 when Joe Burrow and the Tigers capped off the greatest season in the history of college football.

The world imploded a few weeks later.

Auburn football natty.

Randy Johnson perfect game vs Braves. I knew it was a big deal at the time, obviously. It's a perfect game. It wasn't until later hearing he was 40 years old and only went to a 3 ball count on one batter that I was like, "damn, that's pretty incredible."

I have been blessed with a great father who loves sports and has taken me to so many great games. I am now taking him.

I have been to all of the Gators NC winning games. Almost 40 years of Gator home games so have seen, Tebow jump pass, cock-block game, Swindle in the swamp(that changed college football forever), so many last minute wins over the Vols.

Game 7 of the 08 ALCS to see the Rays go to their first Workd Series. A couple of Lightning Stanley cup games.

But the greatest moment for me was watching a young gymnastics lady who broke her back be able to come to the gym I was a coach at and do a cart wheel once again. The joy and tears will stay with me forever.

1997 Sugar Bowl vs. Free Shoes, still an absolute pinnacle memory for me. Still the only sporting event I've attended with both my parents, strangely enough.

Camback, regardless of Bama’s record, felt like was the one and only chance to stop Auburn. Once Bama collapsed and lost that game, it set in with me that Auburn would win the title and they did. That’s why that one hurts more.

Say bama wins, auburn is still 12-1 sec champ(fresh off curb stomping usce in seccg), with it’s only loss to a 10-2 saban led bama team, you really think they get left out the natty?

Sugar Bowl NC versus Miami, went with my Dad. He actually jumped out of his seat during Teague's pick 6. Also the men's 100m final at the '96 Olympics, Donovan Bailey set a WR. He was in 3rd place after 60 meters, and then he just hit another gear, amazing.

I was at all 4 football championship games (3 wins - Oklahoma, OhioSt, Clemson… 1 loss-Bama)

Also was at the Game of the Century (9-6 LSU in Tuscaloosa)

I think my favorite sports memory though was 2009 I was in Omaha for the entire 2-week tournament with my brother (Texas alum/fan) and Dad, where LSU and Texas played in the championship series. Game1 of that series was epic and definitely my favorite single-game memory of all time

Honorable-mention great memory: 2007 SEC title game against Tennessee… Les to Michigan, oh wait he’s not going to Michigan… then later in the day the dominos fall to vault LSU from #7 to #2 and in the national championship. That was a wild day in Atlanta from early morning to well after midnight

Random but I also attended the Steve Bartman cubs game. I was living in Milwaukee at the time

Not as significant as games above, but LSU playing in Las Vegas was also a dream come true. We lost the game, but LSU football + Vegas = heaven to me
