It’s actually pretty great
Over the years my expectations have become so low that football season doesn’t even make me mad anymore
And we are in the best conference in the land!

Sorry that your team isn't good enough to have a bandwagon. Maybe some day.

Don't really care anymore. As a lifelong Gamecock fan and Alum I experienced the most pain in my younger years when I put more stock into the results of 18-22 y/os on a field or a court, etc. Now that I'm almost 32 (yeah I know not that old) I don't really care anymore. If they win great, if they lose well who the frick cares. Actually I'm kind of thankful to be a fan of a team/school that doesn't have a bandwagon. I mean look at Clemson, now that they're having sustained success most of their 'fans' don't even have college educations, much less one from Clemson.

During undergrad in the football world, Ron Zook was fired then Urban Meyer was hired. I made the first cut at walk-on tryouts during the spring but then was cut afterward. Cam Newton was on his way out and this guy named Timmy Tebow was starting to make a name for himself. I was there for the first championship and graduated the yr before his second.
During undergrad in the basketball world, Joakim Noah, Corey Brewer, Al Horford, Taurean Green, and Lee Humphrey won a couple of NCAA tournaments.
It's possible that I went to the school at the greatest time to go to a school in history not just Gator history.

We must be around the same age - I went to South Carolina 2006-2010.

A constant battle with sobriety, the greatest rivalry in college sports.

Like dating a girl you're crazy about but she is constantly disappointing you by spending too much money, quitting her job out of nowhere, or deciding to shave her head at times. You just keep coming back for more and can't let her go even though you should.

Notice how no Aggie fans have posted in here? Imagine what a miserable experience that must be

...and then days like yesterday happen where the whole thing is like getting fricked with a dildo on a Sawzall, fricking rough. Oh well like generations of apathetic gamecocks before me the whole point is to tailgate and socialize not actually win gg vols
