It’s like being born rich but your family had a brief rough period so you can pretend you relate to all of the little people.

LSU 99% of the time plays hard so nothing to complain there. I’ve seen them win Championships also. Several.

Being an Arkansas fan right now is like....indescribable.

I know we haven’t ever won the SEC but most years we played hard and at least had a chance to win games and even out together a pretty good year and win 9-10 games.

Now it’s like.....extreme hopelessness. And I used to love fall and football. Now I go hiking in Saturday’s At least the weather is great for that.

LSU fan

You are crazy, your friends are crazy, all those that support your school are crazy

Yet you all love each other and the colors purple and gold mean more than most of your blood relatives

It’s like taking a million dicks to the butt when you’re not even a little bisexual.

It’s great.

I had full rides and then some to do a Ph.D. at Alabama or Florida, among other places. I liked the folks at Bama a lot, but Tuscaloosa is pretty close to where I grew up. After living in bigger cities for 10 years after trying like hell to get out of central Mississippi at 20 and actually pulling it off, Tuscaloosa felt too much like going back to where I started.

I knew jack shite about UF and went on a lark. Missed two National Championships I think at Bama with that choice and had to endure the Muschamp years at UF, but I’ve never regretted it. It was the best decision I’ve made for myself up to this point.

Football comes and goes each year, but it’s still only part of the bigger picture of why one should be connected to his or her university I would hope for all of us. I’ll always be proud to be a Gator.

You remember being a kid in school and trying to make the paper ball in the garbage can in front of the whole class? Being a state fan is like missing by two feet in front of the prettiest girl in school back in the third grade
