What's it like being a fan of your school?

As a lifelong State fan, watching my team play in the SEC and everything, it's like falling in a swimming pool full of titties and coming out sucking my thumb

I'm a Georgia grad and lifelong fan. Not going into the constant build up and hype followed at times by soul crushing tragedy, but more often just underwhelming and disappointing mediocrity.
The worst thing about being a UGA fan is the rest of the fan base. You're surrounded on one side by the rabid Walmart fans who didn't go to the school, but live and die by the team and embarrass you with their all-around ridiculousness.
On the other side, are the self-appointed "Genteel Class" of fans. These are the old money, bow tie wearing, shade sitting, Scotch sipping, "holier-than-thous" who constantly berate and preach against the rest of Bulldog Nation for questioning any decision made by our abominable administration.
These fans constantly preach to us about the "Georgia Way." They are the idiots who not only are cool with losing to USCJr and passing for 35 yards in an entire game against Kentucky, but who also hired Ray Goff, Played Joe Tereshinski III, refused to build the indoor facility until forced to do so, told Cam Newton and Deshaun Watson that they weren't QB's, kept Mark Richt 5 years too long, and are generally happy with a nice 9-3 so they can go see Mickey and the Capitol One Bowl every year on New Years'.
I could go on and on but really, what's the point?

Being a gamecock is fun, the girls are pretty and still in my age bracket and I get to drink all day at on Saturday at the cockaboose when I’m not on call so that’s dandy too. Plus if Lady Luck ever flashes her sweet tits on us again and we win it all it’ll be worth it. Probably won’t happen but hey at least we ain’t Rutgers or something.
