2008 Tennessee vs Wyoming. For the 1st time in my life Tennessee football players just didn’t care. They quit on the program. I’ve seen it multiple times since then and have learned to look for it. The Vols had winning talent that year but were poorly lead with a toxic locker room. The OC was Dave Clawson (the reason for the downfall) running his O that the team was not a good fit for and honestly just didn’t want to run.

QB Jon Crompton future NFL QB still plays in the Canadian league
RB- Adrian Foster Future NFL guy, Coker (no NFL), Hadesty NFL then coach
WR-Lucas Taylor 1,000 WR in 2007 Gerald Jones NFL
Oline Josh McNeil multi year starter, Anthony Parker 2007 AA, Jacques McClendon NFL turn NFL staff, Chris Scott NFL, Ramon Foster NFL
TE Luke Stocker NFL

DL Robert Ayers NFL, Dan Williams NFL, DeMonte Bolden CFL
LB- Rico McCoy NFL
DB-DeAngelo Willingham NFL/CFL Eric Berry NFL Demetrice Morley CFL
K/P Britton Colquitt NFL, Daniel Lincoln Navy Seal

This team was too loaded, too talented to go 5-7.

1994 Cotton Bowl vs Notre Dame. If Leland McElroy catches that quick pitch, he’s clear to the end zone and we win a share of the NC.

2013 loss to South Carolina. We were up 17. SC comes back to win in overtime. Our field goal hits the uprights.

Frankly, I look forward to all games, but especially the South Carolina games. Those are usually fun times, hey Gamecoks?

I cant imagine being on the other end of that game

But, minus the ending, it was a great football game.

Well, Saban's worst decision but his success makes it easier to deal with. We all take the bad with the good. With all of the championship implications and it being a rivalry game, and taking off my crimson glasses, I will concede it to be among the best regular season games of all time.

I don't really have a problem with the attempt as much as all blockers and no speed on the field to chase down a returner in the event of a short kick. That was the big coaching blunder.

Don't know that any of you have had as many tough losses as Kentucky's had to endure. '93 Florida and '07 Tennessee games immediately came to my mind

Honestly felt bad for y'all. Great back and forth game between 2 top 5 teams with everything still on the table, only to have a freak play with a devastating injury punctuate it.

2010 Iron Bowl.

There were so many opportunities to put that game away.
And over and over Alabama blew it.

Mark Ingram fumbled twice (I think) in his whole Alabama career. The 09 Tennessee game late and in game the weird fumble that rolls 20 yards into the end zone.
Trent Richardson drops an easy pass in the endzone, we have to settle for a FG.
McElroy gets hit near the endzone and the ball sits on the ground for what seems like 5 minutes while our retarded linemen have no idea the ball is right below their own feet.
What else?

As a fan of Arkansas there are too many to choose from.

Even when Arkansas was a legit national power, and we were for a good long time, we were guaranteed one snake bit game each year. Something horrific like beating Texas and A&M and then losing to Rice on a last second FG or what have you.

Probably the toughest loss recently was the beat down WKU put on us. Having a former QB who had been scapegoated by our current coaching staff come back and absolutely walk the dog on us was painful.

Fortunately it had a happy ending for Arkansas as that was probably the straw that broke the camel's back and led to the end of the Chad Morris horror show.

Losing to unranked UGA in 85. That may have cost us a national title since we were #1 in the AP had the time and would've been the only undefeated team. Fortunately I was only like 1 year old at the time.
