I asked a bama fan this question before church Sunday and he said it was easy.... because bama beat them both. Interesting POV.

I doubt that was their answer since Ole Miss didn't play Alabama this year.

I think that’s their thing.

They just up and say they beat everyone involved.

They know who their losses are. They just don’t really know who their wins are and they claim vapor wins like vapor national titles.

At least one was a 42-13 pantsing in the opponent's home stadium at night, but it's escaping me who the opponent was.

I was ok with Bama and ole miss ahead of SC due to head to head. I was not ok with Bama ahead of miami and SC/ole miss behind miami. That's when I realized the committee was made up of fricking idiots.

Thank you for the continued obsession. I bet if we checked your posting history that 60% of your threads are about BAMA , the other 35% are posting in threads about BAMA and the other 5% are about your boyfriend.
Keep up with the obsession.

The entire rankings this year were sus.

Indiana is a feel good story, I get that. The selection committee generally did a good job putting the best 4 teams in the CFP previously. Last season was a great example of that, and I'm saying that as a UGA fan.

But when P4 conference champions are ensured a spot, and the highest ranked G5 conference champ then additional considerations had to be made instead of "the best X number of teams".

I can be an absolute idiot at times, but it seems like the selection criteria should be the P4 conference champs, the highest ranked G5 champ, then the next 7 best teams.

Indiana isn't one of those teams. SMU probably isn't. Notre Dame might not be. I'm excluding Boise from this conversation because of them being the highest ranked G5 champ, obviously.

Indiana is a great feel good story, and if they keep it close or win vs. Notre Dame people will point to that as IU belonging in the CFP this season, when in reality they played another team that had no wins over Top 25 teams this season.

Bama beats OM every year.
If we played 10 times in a row we would win them all.
