sure it was 77-0 with 1:58 left in the 3rd. But you held them scoreless for a whole quarter!

When they announced the sanctions stemming from Dubose's retarded arse, followed not long thereafter by Franchione's retarded arse throwing the Auburn game and leaving for A&M, followed not long thereafter by the hiring/firing of Mike Price's retarded arse.

Laughing at these Big 6 schools talking about rock bottom. We lost 21 straight games in 1998 and 1999. Hall of Famer Lou Holtz went 0-11 in his first season. That is the very definition of rock bottom.

2012 no doubt... 3-12(0-8) with an overtime win over LaMo . And to top it off bama won their 2nd of back-to-back National Titles.
How we’ve managed to go 2-3 against those fvckers since 2012 is nothing short of a miracle.
December 2008 gets an honorable mention... 5-7 and fired Tuberville... then hired a 3-19 head coach from Iowa St.... just as Saban had the dynasty rolling.

This. We've had many rock bottoms since, but this 1992 game was the first.

What was rock bottom for your program since 1980?by arkiebrian
Jack Crowe and the loss to Citadel. Frank fired him on the field immediately after the game.
So the Bielema firing is a tradition

Archer let the program crater. Hallman, dumb as he was, actually steadily improved it year after year. Hallman's first couple of years was when the full impact of the Archer recruiting deficit was felt though.

2012. A&M scores 60 (most points ever by an opponent at JHS). Georgia and Bammer both beat us by like 40. Team finishes 3-9. Players getting involved in armed robberies. Chizik hires a private security firm to keep watch and do bed checks on the players. Heath Evans goes ballistic on TV and radio after he hears that weight lifting was "optional" at AU. All this culminates in Chiz getting fired.
Without a doubt the lowest point for AU since 1980. Worse than '98 and 2008.

You can't? Let me help you. Archer was 27-18-1 with a Top 5 finish. Hallman was 16-28 with losses like this:
Texas A&M 45, LSU 7
Ole Miss 32, LSU 0
Arkansas 30, LSU 6
Florida 58, LSU 3
He is the proud owner of the worst single-season record (2-9) and the worst winning percentage in LSU history. The fricker took a HS coaching job in 2004 and resigned after 4 years without ever finishing above .500

I think we've got just about all you all beat in this one.
After the 1984 season, in which Mizzou went 3-7-1 to end a string of 11 winning seasons out of 13, Mizzou fired Warren Powers. Administration insisted that the job opening follow strict guidelines, such as how long to post the opening, how many to interview, etc. During that time frame, several good candidates came and went, not wanting to wait that long.
So, Mizzou hired Woody Widenhofer, who came in flashing his four Super Bowl rings for his emphasis on winning. Woody was a Mizzou alum and had been coaching in the NFL for a long time. Everyone seemed to really like him and thought he was a great guy. Problem was, Woody had no idea how to coach in college and seemed more interested in drinking with the high rollers and the such than actually coaching.
Thus began Mizzou's drop into the true football abyss. Mizzou went on to have 13 straight losing seasons and 17 of 19. Only the two Corby Jones led Larry Smith teams of 97 and 98 paused the losing.
A four win season was considered a success, and I'm not kidding there. During this time we saw the 5th Down Game, the efffing Flea Kicker, which ironically propelled Mizzou in the rankings after a loss, The Norman Conquest, seeing the Aggies hang 73 on us, seeing multiple schools run up the score, seeing the freaking Beakers have a tailback run for over 300 yards on us, saw a QB from Iowas State beat Mizzou on a cold day when he was wearing gloves...I could go on for a long time.

Dang. Mercy Kneels with 8 min left in the game? Les would be impressed.

In 2002 we lost by an average of 38 pts per game in SEC play. Our reward for that was we got to hire Sylvester Croom. We had about a 5 year period which was miserable
