I went in 2010 when we played in the Swamp. My buddy and I had a great time tailgating with Gator fans. Seats were fine. I don't go to a game for the stadium amenities. I go to watch the game.

Although not used in a long time Legion Field was a dump.

Notre Dame.

I went there for the first time in 2000 as a young guy right out of college. Chicago was awesome but the stadium itself was not impressive, the fans were pretty listless, and the South Bend is not all that exciting post-game.

I ended up going back several times when living back in Chicago and it never really seemed all that exciting.

I am sure it would have been fine if not for the endless hype train that accompanies that program. I expected a lot more.

Auburns It honestly seemed like a high school stadium And their cheerleaders were on the PA system hyping up the crowd. Albeit, this was in 2012 and I believe LSU won 12-10

I mean, I’m not going to argue against it. I love Jordan Hare but the exterior has needed serious upgrading for a very long time. The PA used to be laughable and horrible with cheerleaders leading cheers.

Not we’ve got the oversized Jumbotron, and the old man in me hates it. All that hippity hop music blasting and drowning out the band.

I've been to a ton of stadiums but I guess the "most overrated", strictly speaking on reality compared to how it's regarded, would be neyland. The setting by the river is great but I'm talking about just teh stadium itself. For decades its main claim to fame has been its size but when you're inside it's not really overwhelming. Maybe it's different if you sit in the upper deck, idk. But being down low when you look around, it doesn't look any bigger than any ohter large SEC stadium, it just so happens to be an enclosed bowl which is what contrinbutes to the attendance figures. If bama/uga/lsu/au/etc were constructed as a bowl opposed to what they are all of their numbers would skyrocket as well.

And the concourses just seem ancient. BEing able to see all the metal support beams everywhere is not visually appealing.

It is definitely not Duke Slater. You have to be rated before you can be overrated.

one of the toughest stadiums in the country to play.

Having the benefit of the refs and the heat is a plus but not to the visiting team.

Same with Penn State.

Stadium is huge & set in the rolling hills of PA, which is nice.
White out was crazy.

But the outside of the stadium looks like an erector set.
The inside of the stadium isn't very appealing either.
You can tell where they just slapped sections on to add seats.

Just stadiums, or can we count the Grove? B/c their stadium isn't hyped up, so it was expected to suck. But the Grove was nowhere near what I was expecting. So I vote the Grove.

Sanford stadium is one of the quietest I have been to. They kept putting up SHH and a finger over lips when they were on offense but it was unnecessary as it was like a tomb anyways. Lot of talk and barking before the game though.

On its worst day, Williams-Brice is louder and more rowdy than UK's stadium ever has been.

Forgot about the 2004 Outback Bowl already?

Kinnick Stadium would easily be in the top half of the SEC in terms of both atmosphere and how nice it is.

This. Iowa fans are a loyal and rowdy bunch. So are ISU fans.

Your stadium is named after a supermarket. Settle down.

When UF is elite?
You mean 15 years ago?

Florida isn't going to be elite any time soon.

Bama, Georgia, LSU are leaving Florida in the dust.
NIL is going to make the rich richer (Ohio State, Texas, USC), the programs with deep pockets.

I just don't see a path for Florida to return to glory.

Florida recruiting has been terrible in recent years, and NIL is going to make it even worse.

Even the Florida High Schoolers that used to stay close to home are going to pursue NIL deals at the Blue Blood programs.

Florida had its 15 minutes of fame.
It's over.

Ask Auburn fans what they thought of the Swamp when they played here in 2019.

Ask LSU fans what they thought in 2012 - which to this day is the hottest game I've ever attended.

Ask FSU fans what they thought in 1997.

Ask Alabama fans what they thought just LAST YEAR.

Again - respectively frick off.

Obviously you never been to the Swamp, but opinions are like a-holes, everyone has one.

The big house in Ann Arbor. 107,000 fans and you can carry on a conversation without yelling during the game.
