Ouch! That is cold. I doubt the windchill in the Minnesota game I attended was that cold.

I was there. Cold wet and windy. Just above freezing but wind chill was brutal.

2010 Capital One Bowl LSU vs Penn St. the temps were well-above freezing, but the constant rain and wind made for an utterly miserable game
Nothing worse than being cold and wet. The coldest I ever was in my life was at a High School game. Conditions were similar to what you described and I had no rain gear.

South Carolina vs. UConn in the PapaJohns.com Bowl at Legion Field. Stadium ran out of coffee and hot chocolate and we were sitting on pizza boxes because the metal was so cold.

The temperature at kickoff was around 35 °F (2 °C), abnormally cold for Birmingham at that time of year.

My son's baseball game in May 2017.

There was a strong humid wind off Lake Superior and it was about 35 degrees in a stadium facing the water.

Didn't help that they won 23-0 (with all runs scored in the second inning.)

My core took 2 days to come back up to normal, and we are used to cold weather here.

1983 Peach Bowl in old Fulton Co Stadium, Dec 30th...

FSU 28 vs UNC 3 or something like that.
Low that a.m. was like 8 degrees, sunny and around 20 at kickoff with 25 mph winds.

Given tix and prolly 5-6,000 in stadium. We all moved around stadium to stay in sun. Miserable...

Does it count if the game was played indoors?

2000 Iron Bowl. Cold, wet and miserable game. I remember my girlfriend and I forgot gloves so we went into a Walmart or something and the only thing they had were work gloves. Well when its raining those are useless. Just a miserable night. We didnt even score

Yankees don't understand the bone chilling humidity cold down south. It won't dazzle you temperature wise but you will be miserable when the winds pick up.

2009 vs South Carolina. It was unusually cold that mid October night. Mark Ingram ran for 246 yards and officially entered the Heisman race.

I can’t help but mention 2012 @ Mizzou. Just a cold, windy rainstorm that got a lightning delay before halftime. Miserable weather that day. I remember the Missouri fans kept saying how our guys were big.

I looked up the historical weather for that day and it said no wind during the game with a 40 degree temperature. Both lies!

That is what made the 2000 Alabama/Auburn game so miserable. That and the fact the forecast was a bust. Most people dressed for party cloudy with a high near 50 degrees instead of 37 degrees and heavy sleet at kickoff which transitioned to heavy to moderate rain and 37 degrees the rest of the game. Would have much preferred 29 degrees and all snow than that

Don’t know about the coldest but the most miserable was versus Colorado 1992. Thursday night game. I think the final score was like 6-0. Pouring down rain and in the 30s.

Yes, can confirm. It was 6-0. Phil Johnson threw a pick in the end zone.

The Iowa State game the year before was really cold. Light snow, IIRC. Stomping your feet constantly to keep the blood circulating. Mizzou scored with basically no time remaining to get within a point. Stull went for two...they intercepted it :-( Could have been either Johnson again or Jeff Handy, don't recall.

High school game, rivalry night, 1993. Was playing in the band, had two people get hurt when their mouth pieces froze to their lips.

2007 Iron Bowl was a night game and pretty cold IIRC. Ole Miss 2021 in Auburn was also pretty chilly.

2007 vs Kansas at night at Arrowhead. Was in the high 20s, felt like mountain cold on exposed skin.

2008 vs Kansas also at Arrowhead. Game was in the afternoon but it was raining and sleeting with wind the whole game so we were wet and freezing. And they won at the end bc we couldn’t cover Kerry Meier, a converted QB that had a career game against us with 14 catches and the game winning TD.
