LINK

I hope this doesn’t turn into a trashing of each others stadium.

There are great venues throughout the conference and YOU KNOW you’d like to experience each and every one with a win, of course.

I’m genuinely curious to know as much detail as possible of your stadium and facilities. The link provides some good info on Kyle Field which will then take you to the Bright Complex which will then take you to the Coolidge Football Performance Facility. I learned a couple of new things about recent upgrades.

Everyone is spending money to build their brand. What makes your stadium and facilities special?

I’ve been to LSU, State and Bama. Great time at all 3. Oh and DKR. I read a couple of years ago their weight training was in a windowless basement. Believe the article said they were trying to find a solution for new facilities, but land was very limited.

DKR Texas Memorial stadium was originally dedicated to honor the 198,520 Texans who served in World War I and the 5,280 who lost their lives. In 1977 re-dedicated to all veterans of all wars.

DKR is the tallest stadium in CFB.
The west side expansion justified funding by the university by placing classrooms under the upper deck. I had a semester of calculus there as a freshman. Kinda cool going into the stadium to attend class.

West side 213 ft.
Ohio stadium 193 ft.
Tiger stadium 183 ft.

Don't know if special or not, but DKR has a hell of a lot of high dollar luxury boxes and amenities. Don't know if stats available on this but they have to be a good part of the stadium income and probably generates more income than any other in CFB.

Our football field is named after the guy that invented the option, so that your stadium could be named after the guy that took the option and ran with it, pun intended.
