A lot of people don’t have an ability to process modern news coverage. They don’t understand that what passes as events in the media are often manufactured and/or blown out of proportion.

My dad was still on campus quite a bit while the Domino’s hunger strike was going on. He said he couldn’t even tell anything was really out of the ordinary. But the news media made it seem like another major event.

Same really for the Ferguson protests/riots. It was confined to a few square blocks of Ferguson and was largely instigated (at least the more riotous moments) by Communists who came down from Chicago for it. There were as many cameramen as protesters.

As for the ginger, she was fired. That’s no small feat at any university. There’s probably 20 professors at Ole Miss that the university would love to fire and they don’t feel like they can.

So take your stupid, triggered bullshite and go somewhere else. Or grow up.

Nothing beneficial but FUN !!!

Once the other schools relent and agree to the 9-game schedule, Auburn will move to the east and Missouri to the west and your fun times will come to an end.

Why exactly?

So we lose to Bama like everyone else. Ole Miss, A&M, and Arkansas are pretty much wins for us. Leaves LSU and Miss State as the up in the air games. Give us Florida and Vandy or someone as our cross rivals we are looking at 6-2, 7-1 pretty much every season.

Ole Miss: 5 in a row, haven't lost since 1977 (funny the OP is an Ole Miss fan... at least an LSU or Bama or Georgia fan has some sort of ground to stand on making fun of us)
A&M: 7 of the last 9
Arkansas: 4 of the last 5

OMG the West, the West!!!!

That right there is a prime example of being triggered.

You do realize the Outlaw Josey Wales was a fictional Missouri farmer - so there is that.

If he is fictional how did he manage to put a post up right before yours?

Glad to know Mizzou occupies so much space in "y'alls" cranium.

Recruiting in the Midwest has been very, very good for UK.

I didn’t post the OP about socio-political events on a football board.

You’re one of the most Mizzou-triggered posters on the board. You and OMlandshark. And it’s always about socio-political events.

They bring in more money than the entire state of Mississippi ever could.

Two schools from Mississippi are a drain. Ole Miss should be dumped for a more valuable team like Cincinnati.

The 5th (STL) and 8th (KC) largest metro areas in the SEC footprint...I'm sure this can be construed as good or bad, but for sake of TV $, it is good. The lowest % of housing units that are mobile homes by state in the SEC footprint, and the lowest poverty rate among states in SEC footprint...again, not sure if this is good or bad, I mean I guess it's good if you look at the southeast as a whole and include MO, maybe it makes the dumpy, broke, poverty stricken region look a less trashy from a statistical standpoint.

Let's be frank here, not even the BigTen would take you, and the SEC just did it out of charity when every one supposed that the Big 12 was breaking up. You tugged on an old man's heart strings and he let you in. He should have paid closer attention to the Aesop fable of the farmer and the viper.

We regret it now. You can go back to the Big 12.

St Louis market? Really? When I was in the Air Force, I was stationed in downtown St. Louis (2nd and Arsenal Sts).

The entire city of East St. Louis was off-limits due to violence. We were downtown shopping (downtown St. Louis, MO, and a store owner told my wife to hold her purse tighter due to the purse snatching problem.

Do we really need the St. Louis market?
