We have a losing record only to Bama, Georgia, UK, A&M, and Auburn. The A&M losses are mainly from our days in the Big XII.

Mizzou will take it GA, UK, and USC seem to have our number would rather play the "strong" west. I think it's hilarious that A&M talks crap about Mizzou and Ole Miss as well. We will gladly take those two gimmie wins on our schedule in addition to Arkansas. Will miss beating up on Tenn and Fla though!

I would rather be preseason top 10 and end up in a better bowl like what happened in 2008 then unranked having to climb the standings. If our 2013 team started in the top 25 we would have been #2 most of the season.

On the flip side though it takes you that much longer to climb the rankings if you do win. Obviously 12-0 or something makes no difference but a 9-3 team that starts the season top 10 ends up ranked a lot higher than a 9-3 team that starts outside the top 25. I don't have a problem with a lot of rankings but the 4-8 Nebraska being ranked on Frost alone is pretty absurd.

Why exactly?
So we lose to Bama like everyone else. Ole Miss, A&M, and Arkansas are pretty much wins for us. Leaves LSU and Miss State as the up in the air games. Give us Florida and Vandy or someone as our cross rivals we are looking at 6-2, 7-1 pretty much every season.
Ole Miss: 5 in a row, haven't lost since 1977 (funny the OP is an Ole Miss fan... at least an LSU or Bama or Georgia fan has some sort of ground to stand on making fun of us)
A&M: 7 of the last 9
Arkansas: 4 of the last 5

Irony. Using Missouri's top finishes as proof the 12-17 sec east is better than the big 12 north.

Yeah 07 big 12 north was hot garbage. The #2 vs #3 teams in the country played each other in the final weeks putting Mizzou #1. When that happens here in the West you guys pat yourselves on the back about how dominant it is.

We only have an all time losing record against a&m, Bama, UK, Georgia, and Auburn. But the conference is so dominant from top to bottom!!!!!
