Only 182 yards vs UTEP? Good for 71st in the country. Meanwhile the ground and pound Vols had 399 yards rushing and that is good for 4th in the country.

Stick to rushing yards. Please, for the love of god, don't post defensive stats.

We'll make it up with 500 rushing yards against Texas Tech.

Running backs preoccupied and mesmerized watching Brandon Allen aerial assault.

9 guys in the box so we passed a lot more than usual.

What's your defensive rating?

Go look at Allens QB rating and our passing/receiving yards and get back to me.

Couldn't show your face last night and you're coming now to attack?

They also lost to the only 2 C-USA teams they played. UTEP is a C-USA team.

In all seriousness, we averaged 5.4 ypc, even though they stacked the box on us. Collins averaged 10.6 ypc, but only had 12 carries. I also think we were wanting to work on the passing game a little.

However, our OL didn't run-block well and I do think the loss of Jonathan Williams is gonna hurt. Rawleigh Williams still needs some work, but hopefully will fill much of the void.

Congrats on Tennessee's rushing success!

Our new OC teaches the offense to silently check into pass plays when the opposing D crowds the line. We executed that and made them pay. Also, for much of the game we experimented with running out of one-back sets and that didn't work out so well. We ran much better out of our usual two-back sets.

Well considering Tennessee called 64 rushing plays compared to our 34...

We also had 308 passing yards and 4 TD's on 18 attempts vs. Tennessee's 205 and 2 TD's on 22 attempts.

Sounds like your offense was on the field a lot yesterday. I wonder why that is.
