If they start slowing speed to certain sites even though you pay for a certain speed then that opens them up to easy lawsuits.

You don't understand how networks work. ISPs wants to charge the content providers more for higher throughput access to their networks. This is exactly what that regulation prevented. The charges will be passed down to you, the consumer.

The throttling will happen on the content provider's side, allowing ISPs to say they are meeting their legal obligations for your local internet access.

We tried to save you stupid fricks from this happening but you wouldn't listen.
Anyone who says this is good for consumers is either a troll or profoundly retarded.
quote:

This has NOTHING to do with net neutrality unless you mean speed. They could already charge you anything they want for the amount of bandwidth you use. ZILCH. Zero to do with net neutrality.

Now if they choose to test fast/slow lanes for pay, then you have an argument but they didn't do that in the first 40 years of internet so the gloom and doom are nonsense until they start asking for different prices for different speeds.

For all the shirt rending, this regulation was not in effect until 2015 yet somehow the internet thrived.

Comcast, Verizon, etc want to make more money. There is nothing wrong with that. But they lobbied for this hard because they want to increase profits. They didn't do this for shits n giggles.

Tell me, if Comcast makes more money, who pays?
quote:

It isn't. This is a stark example of why we have been saying from the beginning that Trump and his administration are shite.

Most places in the US have only one or two high speed internet providers. Internet access in the US is a monopoly, there is no competition. Providers have enormous leverage over consumers and content providers. And they just got the green light from Trump to bend everyone over.

Congratulations you stupid fricks, did you think Trump was truly a populist? You got played, admit it.
quote:

Why should I care about this?

Because corporations are motivated by profit, and current regulations prevent them from charging more for fast lanes for content providers.

Those charges will be passed down to the consumer-- YOU.
How can Trumpists view this as anything other than a corporate giveaway? Do you really think Comcast would spend all that money lobbying without an expectation of a pay off?

You bought into Trump's populist ploy, and now you refuse to admit you got played. That's the definition of stupid.

I don't believe you because I've never seen the democrats do the right thing. You know why there are calls for Franken to step down? Because they know his replacement will be picked by a Dem governor. Menendez would be replaced by a republican governor, hence no calls for his replacement. You can say whatever you think wins an argument on a message board because you have no influence.

Democrats have never been known as a group that does the right thing. They'll win by hook or by crook.

Menendez faced a trial by jury and was acquitted. You have to respect the legal process, whatever the outcome. I expect the same from fellow democrats regarding the Russian collusion allegations.
quote:

You know he won't. That's why you can act as if you want him too. The fact that you make such self-righteous statements after democrats elected serial harasser Bill Clinton twice and voted overwhelmingly for his enabler and victim character assassin wife is laughable.

There you go, proving my point. You don't even believe me when I say he should step down. It's simply inconceivable to you.
quote:

Exaggerate much?

No wonder everyone here considers you a retard.

Tell me, how many indictments and plea deals will it take before you admit Trump has a Russia problem? Mueller's just getting started and they are already MULTIPLE indicments, and guilt pleas.

So we shoud expect democratic senator Bob Menendez to step-down at any moment because he was banging under age prostitutes, right?

Yes.

Y'all can't even admit that the FBI lead investigator that texted "frick Trump" was biased.

It's sad that you would denigrate an investigation being run by Robert Mueller, a man who volunteered for combat duty in Vietnam, when he would have skipped out like Trump did.

bhtigerfan, was Trump lying when he said had bonespurs and couldn't go to Vietnam? His feet must hurt so bad when he's out playing golf these days!
quote:

See the thing that you're not understanding here is that most liberal people are actually more about the movement itself regardless of who it affects. If if it's something that's been needed for a long time then everyone who's guilty must be treated the same way.

Liberals actually have ideas that they stand behind other than just bullshite generic flag-waving and patriotic fervor. I know it's hard for you to understand coming from a mentality of a lack of belief system

Exactly, Trumpists don't understand how anyone can have principles that transcend partisanship. They're trained to be loyal attack dogs and they can't even comprehend that others could act in good faith without regard to party lines. They believe that everyone is just out to support their tribe because that's all they know themselves. It's really, really sad, but I have hope for America.

Blacks vote 95-5 for Democrats, pretty sure if any group in this country is loyally trained it's them.

It might have to do with the President calling a bunch of Nazis "very fine people", among other things.

Success, I must have struck a nerve with you!

You could change fox, breitbart, and infowars to the democrat party and change white guys to black people and the sentence works the same.

Sigh... the lame go-to answer when a winger can't think of anything else to say: "But you do it too!"

Fox, Breitbart, Infowars, etc do a great job of keeping white guys perpetually angry, upset, and politically active with manufactured outrage (see NFL kneeling). They make sure you always feel like you're being oppressed so that you have a reason to vote. It's major advantage R's have over D's.

They've got you trained. You're loyal soldiers and you believe what they tell you do believe. I'm not even trying to convince you to change your ways, it's a hopeless cause.
quote:

GOP STILL trying to play favor to people that will NEVER vote for them.

Ridiculous, plenty of poor white trump supporters benefit from this deduction. That's the reason they put it back.

Congressional R's are in a tough spot trying to appease the donors (multimillionaires) while not pissing of their poor white base. I wouldn't be surprised if this whole thing blows up.
But thats what the GOP base likes. They like people that think like them, talk like them, and are ignorant like them. They are butthurt that people are smarter than them so they lash out by voting retards into office.

You're basing this off of Shannon leaving for Florida. I don't think we cared that he left us, so Jeff Long didn't fight it.
