Fowler got disappeared because he said Athens is overrated and didn't rank them in his top 5 college towns. Based on my own experiences stating the same thing on here, he got a lot of blowback from SEC fans. Obviously ESPN is invested in the SEC and it was a problem for them.

Ratings have been nose diving the last few years and now to the point where there are just over 1 million TV sets tuned into the show.

The whole wanting more time to focus on the games is just chatter to not say what the real issue is and that is ratings drop.

The ratings drop wasn't because of Fowler. It was because they expanded it and made it too long. Watered down the content.

if y'all havent noticed, fowler has expanded his sports coverage in several more sports for espn. which is perfectly fine. reece got promoted and thats a good thing also. reece actually smiles, a lot.

the 2 moves i totally dislike. mark may moving to abc, really liked mayday.

danny 'i'm the biggest whiner on the planet' kannel, sheesh i cant even stand to hear his voice. add to that i really do not like him and yes, this is the absolutely worst offseason move

Only choice worse than Kannel would be Stephen A Smith.

Terrible is an understatement. I have no clue how Galloway has a job. Do any of these guys just HATE the ACC? Or any other conference besides the SEC? Galloway fricking despises the SEC. It changes his mood when he talks about it.

I think it is good they have Galloway if he truly hates the SEC. You have to have different perspectives to have an interesting show. ESPN is embarrassingly SEC groupie. Fowler got all defensive last year about the accusation of SEC bias at ESPN.

Even if SEC is the best conference, a sports network shouldn't be stating it is as a irrefutable fact. Especially if the network is invested in the conference financially. It doesn't look good.

I agree. I don't think it's THAT biased, but I agree. Galloway is just horrible though. Plenty of them don't like the SEC.
