bama hasn't faced an elite QB or balanced offense this year. or a elite defense.

Clemson defense is pretty dominant on most plays but give up the big run every now and then, like in the FSU game. l
but slowed down Cook almost the entire game outside that 1 play

lot of the big run plays looked like more of scheme issue and can be corrected. obicvously the playoffs are on neutral field so that helps too. Cuse is a weird environment with the dome and loud in there, plus teams dont' see the triple option much.

ND and BC and FSU and NC State and Lville are better 5 defenses than any five Bama has faced.

that's not bad given neither one of those defenses is elite and Henry is foal point of offense.

u need to post COker's stats as well which most likely were horror show

you obviously know nothing about our RB Gallman. he's as tough a runner as you will see.

also keep in mind we have a better running QB than Watson that Clemson will play some if the run game can't get going.

Cuse didn't pass on us. they had a some big run plays, but Clem gave them a short field on two fumbles.

Cuse only scored 13 points when they had to drive the ball down the field from the 25 or so and their QB's threw a few unbelievably accurate balls against Clemson pressure.

ok well ND is better this year than that team. bama prob would beat them but it all de;pends on Coker. i wouldn't be that confident in Coker but maybe he is better than wut i've seen.

ND isn't likely to make playoffs, i would take Stanford in that game and even with one loss, ND is a stretch b/c their schedule looks weak with Temmple losing to unranked team. they def. got to beat Stanford and then hope standford wins the PAC 10. ND doesn't have a conference title game to boost their resume as well

I think it is more likely you see the big 12 champ than ND.

if CLemson screws the pooch to UNC or SC, difficult to see ND getting in b/c loosing to Clemson has actually boosted their resume compared to other 1 loss teams plus not really legit to take ND if Clemson beat them.

it is possible that if Clemson were to loss ACC title game to a highly ranked UNC team they would still get into playoffs given OSU got in last year with a bad home loss to Va Tech.

Clemson basically spotted Cuse 14 points and still won by 13-17

you don't think bama nearly losing 2 games at home and losing 1 is a concern?

you have to question how good the SEC is hypede up West laid an egg in the bowl games last season.

moreover, the fact that Bama basically wins the conference every season reminds me of FSU back in the 90s in the ACC. a competitive conference should basically have a different conference champ every year and title champss with at least 2 losses
