Home of the Ole Miss Rebels.
How would you rate them vs the other SEC schools?
Youtube
If you've never been please don't give an opinion.

It's a nice, little Old South style town. I'd live there.

Unbiased opinion, it's awesome. Great food, great bar scene, really good live music year round, good looking women, quaint, low crime relatively (and controlled in pockets), Square is all concentrated and fun to walk around, campus is pretty, etc.
It's a lot more fun on non-game weekends, for anyone interested in visiting. Game weekends have outgrown the town a bit.

Lived there for six years after graduating form LSU and thoroughly enjoyed it.
But I had to grow up eventually, so I moved.

It’s a nice town…what Ruston should aspire to be, but will never come close to achieving it. I think I would get pretty bored after a few years there, however.
It’s a nice college town, but make no mistake, it’s no Boulder, Charlottesville, Chapel Hill, Athens.
Fayetteville, which is oddly never discussed, would be substantially more enticing to me than Oxford.

I go to Oxford often for work.
It's a great college town. The Square is absolutely picture perfect. Town has a great restaurant scene for one its size.
That said, it's still a small town. And once you've eaten at the six or seven good restaurants, that's it. Away from the square it's also nothing special.
Definitely worth a trip if you've never been there.

Hear it is a great place to visit. Have not been in the State except flying over or driving through to get to other States. Would like to though.

Some of the best restaurants were off the square when I lived there from 2013 to 2018.

The town is great but it's the people, AMIRITE?

I spent most of the summer of 1975 there on a construction project. I remember those young ladies quite well. They seemed to be looking to go slumming with the blue-collar guys and get away from frat boys. We were happy to oblige them.
Fond memories of the place.
