Tbh what I’m hearing more and more is this is about the SEC believing the governor of LA is running the LSU athletic department via proxy. I’m not behind closed doors…so no clue about the truth to it.

All the posters on here keep dancing around it.
“Yall deliberately disobeyed the SEC”
“Ok, how?”
“Stop trying to gaslight us”
But I should know better. Most of the posters probably took SpED classes.

I mean if there were more wouldn’t they (sec) would have included that in their federal lawsuit? They literally added “lane was mean at halftime”
To the suit. Like who tf puts that as a legal grounds for a lawsuit lmao

This has been going on since the 50’s.

LOIC is what was added to the amendment over Kiffins joke to Holly Rowe to the effect of "imagine what teh score would be if we had professional players"
they basically say because LSUs AD or president didnt address this then they lack institutional control
so basically coaches cant talk some shite when theyve been bashed the entire offseason

This is honestly the best answer I’ve hear yet. This appears to be what happened.

I can’t I’m not familiar with the SEC rules around it. Just stating what I’ve heard.

Is he doing it to Texas??

This is the end of the SEC no matter what. After this teams will drop the deadweight in each conference and consolidate. The revenue sharing after the deadweight gone, would more than make up for exit fees.
No matter what, Sankey just fired himself after the incomprehensible mismanagement of this situation.
Harvard, go ahead and make the case study.

They won't say, cause they can't say, cause they don't even know. There are no facts to talk about, but a bunch of low IQ Sankey fan boys in here seem to think they've got a handle on the nothingness.

Your coach colluded with a pro player and the government to sue and cause harm to the conference you're in so you could bypass agreed upon rules.
This cannot happen
Think about it as a workplace analogy. You work for a corporation. You are actively and knowingly causing harm to that corporation. That corporation is much more powerful than you as an employee/shareholder. That cannot stand and you would be eliminated as a threat. Particularly after doubling down on the causing of harm
If your brain can’t understand that, then you must be somewhere on the scale of imbecile, idiot, retard

But this is just an assumption, no real evidence of this has been presented yet.

True. Publicly. Im sure the University presidents have a better idea of the full picture.
The most important rules aren’t written down and explicit. And they don’t require legally admissible evidence. Causing harm to the SEC and not backing down is a big deal
The SEC NEEDS to have it’s own set of regulations governing the sport (for 16 participants). The NCAA and our joke of a congress will not be stepping up to do what needs to be done. So it will fall on the SEC to set some sort of guardrails to end the status quo. Kiffin and lsu are threatening the power of the only institution with any hope of asserting any control and fairness
LSU won’t be kicked out because they will stop. What’s happening Thursday is about giving the conference the power needed to assert control. Loss of conference membership, TV $, etc = death penalty
Fans and others don’t like lsu because arrogant people aren’t like-able. There’s some great lsu folks out there, but stereotypes exist for a reason and don’t apply to everyone
