I have had friends that have gotten in horrific circumstances in the surf and lived the tell about it but lost part of their bathing suit in the process. Nolan Wells could have been just the same if his suit was missing, and I am sure a lot of sea creatures were making the most of his body while he was out there for 48 hours.....anything could have happened the his bathing suit..

Catholics need to fill the streets while throwing holy water and walking pigs and dogs.

I am in Gulf Shores all yhe time and I am surprised at the sheer number of drowning each year. The biggest problem is people who do not respect the flags...those warning flags are there for a very good reason...and also those who do not respect the incredible force of mother nature in Gulf waters.....I see red flags out and idiots letting little kids play in knee deep water with water wings on...seriously?
I see stupid decisions everytime I am there..I am actually surprised that more don't drown. Unfortunately, it always seems to be those who jump in to save those who ignore the flags who end up dead.

Those race grifters, know that the toxicology report takes a very long time to come back and gives them an even longer runway to try to squeeze more money out of people before the truth is known... that he was not murdered...that it was an accident and he was quite possibly very drunk.
