Even at Tennessee, Butch had zero self awareness about how the things he said or did would be perceived by others. This is a continuation of that.

Lol. You just proved the point. It's a little sad. For all the recent success you guys don't have a traditional rivalry. I guess rowdy drunken night games are the LSU tradition and that's cool because they are a blast. Fitting for the home state of New Orleans I suppose.
But there's just something about the 3rd Saturday of October. The crisp fall air, Crimson and Orange uniforms on the field - the colors of fall -, the ghost of Bear Bryant and General Neyland.
It's a game best enjoyed sober and in the light of day. Just something an LSU fan can't comprehend I suppose.

Nick Saban disappoints me. These antics by Butch Jones and the players show no class. Tommy Tubberville in Auburn did this mini years ago. Low class Butch Jones.

Between Kiffin, Jones, and Pruitt, there have been a lot of TSIO victory cigars smoked by the last few UT head coaches. The only problem is, none of them were the head coach of UT when they smoked them.

I'm torn here.
I agree with you that it's not the best look to seem like you're celebrating over your former players losing to your current team, but I also remember that Butch didn't CHOOSE to leave those players, the administration fired him.
Also, if the players you're with want to take a pic with you and celebrate, you probably wouldn't shut them down if you want to continue to have a good relationship.
