I don't think they're trying to offend anybody. Just imagine a situation where you got fired from a company, take a different job with another company and then have to do a deal with the company that fired you. It would suck arse and be a miserable experience. Well, that's what Butch had to do. The players were just trying to cheer up a guy who was likely down in the dumps the entire week. There's nothing more to it than that.

Not really about tact. I think he honestly thinks that game on Saturday somehow validated the job he did at Tennessee.
He got a gatorade bath out of coolers he filled up himself and preceded to parade around like he had won a Super Bowl.
It was a hilarious scene no matter who you cheer for.

not sure if its funny or sad actually. he is like the team jester. The players use him as a joke. They are not celebrating with him, but making a joke of him. As a tn fan its funny he has resulted to this role, but man... i kinda feel bad for him, he looks pathetic
