There are already red flags. This situation reminds me of Colorado. Deion’s kids and Hunter were/are millionaires and no one on the team was making anything. The rumor was the OL was letting dudes go by and getting free shots on the QB bc money was dividing the locker room. I can see this happening more. To you guys, Judkins making less than Nolan is justified and trash Judkins. To me Judkins feeling “wtf” is completely fine. So now players committing to Ole Miss out of HS understand they will make less than transfers. That’s the way Lane is designing his team, and there isn’t anything wrong with it. But shitting on Judkins when we only know one side of the story, and that story comes from Ole Miss fans…I’m going to take every “rumor fact” posted with a grain of salt. Flame away at me, but I’m going to stand up for Judkins solely bc he’s a top RB, and RBs always get fricked when they take the most hits and do the most dirty work. He’s already going to have the shittiest contracts if he makes it to the league. Take Judkins away from Ole Miss the last 2 years, you guys are crazy to think Lane wins 10 games a year still.

You guys are paying transfers more than him. It’s understandable.

Certain positions are worth more than others.

In the NFL that is certainly true, but its certainly less so in college. They still need a good OL to produce against better teams, but you could also say that about quarterbacks.

Well seeing as how the transfers have 1-3 years of collegiate development and likely game experience, this should be expected.

No. The story comes from his and his teammates actions on the field. The story comes from his mother being very active on twitter.

but I’m going to stand up for Judkins

ok.

fwiw I'm always in the corner of the players making as much money as they can. I don't have a problem with him trying to get the most money he possibly can. It would be different if this was only about money.....but that's far from the case.

I just wish some rebs would move on and let this die out, but then I checked and saw OP wasn’t a reb. It isn’t y’all. I was like, this topic is old now.

a defensive tackle who can eat up two blockers every play is much harder to find than a quality running back. That defensive tackle also doesn't need 5 other quality players in front of him to perform.....but the running back does(as you alluded to).

that defensive tackle is worth more.

We ?!? You got a hamster up your arse ?!

Yes there are two sides to every story. I was told all about this right after the Peach Bowl. I was also told he would transfer to AU if they would pay up. If not he was likely to land at a Big Ten school. Everything I was told a week ago played out exactly that way. The OM side of the story has never once changed.

My gracious,Jay. I'm sorry my post didn't meet your standards. I can only presume you prefer the troll/flame fest this board has become over the last few years.

Jay,how did A&M get boat raced Saturday night at home by an LSU team that had a losing record last year. Y'all are pathetic!!

Jay,how do you explain paying a King's ransom to pay some jackass like Jimbo Fisher to NOT coach?

Is that better?

As they should. Transfers have SEC game film and you know what you are getting. Even 4-5 star high school kids are a roll of the dice. For every 4 star that works out, there are 5 that disappear and can’t see the field.

Judkins was working out a deal with Ohio State, Ole Miss finds out, gets coaches and players to talk bad about him to soften the blow to their crazy fan base.

Since you cared enough to post, maybe you also care enough to do just a little bit of research, at which point you will discover this take is way off base.

Tried to come back to OM for the original deal he had signed for and Lane told him it was no longer on the table.

Sounds like there was a memorandum of understanding in place.

I love all this Ole Miss spin. It's hilarious!

I mean, who wouldn't rather play for Ohio State than Ole Miss?

I don't really think any of us OM folks are arguing against this. The only exception might just be next season, likely Judkins's last anyway. Oh the irony.

Unregulated NIL and the immediate eligibility transfer portal have destroyed college football.
At least the NFL is not complete chaos like the college programs.

If you can play you can play right? I would think anyone who can be good in the B1G can be good in the SEC and the opposite.
