Give Joey credit…..he took full advantage of the Nepo that Monty provided him with.

However, he did blow it though and Coach Saban had to throw him a life preserver when LK claimed:
“my phone wasn’t ringing, and no one was answering either”

This was the state of affairs LK found himself in after being fired again, unfortunately for Coach Saban, he too would come to regret the decision, and it also resulted in Joey’s dismissal prior to the National Title in favor of Steve Sarkesian.

So, as the HC of an NFL franchise and P-4 programs such as Tennessee, USC, Ole Miss and G-5 Florida Atlantic….what games do you consider as his best wins?

Follow-up:
Also, what would you consider as his greatest accomplishments as a HC?

None, he's never won anything. There's no need for this constant anxiety and worry.

Beating UGA by 18 in 2024 is easily his greatest win. Don't think there is another that would come close to that.

Regular season?
No postseason of any type?

Didn’t you guys beat him by half a hundred right around then?

I thought for sure he would’ve won more than he lost vs BK….the 45-20 loss to BK in his 1st season at LSU is a bit puzzling…..the line was Ole Miss -3.5

Will you provide an honest assessment of his 15-26 record vs top25 opponents (9-24 prior to last year)…..I was very surprised to read that

You guys played him multiple times but Bama only faced Joey in his early years at Ole Miss, but how did his offense perform vs Georgia?

Reading the box score doesn’t always tell the whole story, but it seems consistent throughout his career that he’s put up huge numbers on weak opponents then fails to score 24ppg vs top25 teams.

This past season really helped his. 9-24 record vs top25 opponents.

There are also a lot of blowout losses in there….not sure how he managed to lose by 42 to Arizona State.
Then the 52-17 game with his best Ole Miss team that seemed to have all the pieces a coach would need to win at a high level.
The 45-20 loss to BK is another one.

Just seems like the elite coaches don’t have those 40-50 point losses.

Off-topic:
I am sure Kirby had fun smoking CKD 27-7 in the SECCG after losing the first two matchups. Looking forward to round 4 Bama-UGA….will Kirby even the series with CKD?

He's average, there's no reason for you to stay up late creating threads worrying about him.

The 2024 team was better despite the worse record.

His biggest win was probably the Oklahoma game this year. It was the biggest hurdle left for a playoff spot. 34-26 was the final but Ole Miss dominated outside of a very strange 5 minute window where Ole Miss got outscored 17-0.

Next biggest was UGA 2024 even though it ended up being meaningless. The playoff picture seemed way easier after that.
