UGA will be sad if they lose, but I think most will spin as being optimistic about the future, Kirby "ahead of schedule", etc.

Then, a few years from now they will realize that was all fool's gold. Kirby won't beat Saban. There will be a few repeats of the 2012 SEC championship game, and ultimately UGA fans will end up broken just like LSU fans have become.

TLDR: UGA's old Daddy Florida went out for cigarettes and never came back, but their new Daddy Saban will never let them down.

This concludes my Saban dick riding

There is that salty goodness I was expecting... far too many reasonable Auburn posters in the thread for too long...

Honestly, the super bowl last year was worse than yesterday because it reminded me so much of the 2013 NCG.

Holy shite dude - that’s brutal.

I think Georgia is set for a solid run for years, and this might be the weakest team for a while - and that is meant as a compliment because they are damn good right now.

But this post is awesome.

Auburn is kind of like herpes.

Don’t really think about them unless it flares up. Otherwise it’s just an annoying afterthought.

I posted the correct answer on our board already.

Damn. I always just kind of assumed that the Iron Bowl was their biggest rivalry until I read that.

Good post. It will be interesting.

Before yesterday I didn't think UGA had a chance vs Bama because you don't out saban saban and beat him at his own game (reliance on defense and a traditional power run game). Usually takes exceptional qb play.

After how well Fromm played on a huge stage and considering it will be like a home game for UGA, I dunno.

shite... I'm not sure I can ever take the Falcons seriously again after last year... that was painful, and I'm more casual about my NFL fandom since I am somewhat split between Jags and Falcons... fricking torture to take them too seriously.

It still is. But the simple fact is bama winning is just a other day and the last time we met this season, we beat them.

You guys are still mad as frick seeing Fairley with a ring. Bama fans have moved on from 2010.

Just shows we have a lot more respect for Bama than UGA.

If that makes you happy to be alive, well...

Lol.

I see the Auntie hating UGA crowd is out in full force today. I guess I might feel the same way after the loss to UCF. No troll... UCF is a quality team led by a quality coach.

I generally root for all of the SEC except Florida.

It was a bad day, nice obvious question. But you are still a huge douche bag just like you have been since the unfortunate day you popped out of your moms vagina. So in the darkest hour, I take comfort in that I’m at least not you.

He's a tPOS, but I don't give two shits about him or his ring... Cam was a fricking beast... clearly he was "worth it". I think most UGA posters are the same... it's inevitably Auburn posters who bring him up because they think it somehow triggers reactions... when in fact it simply goes to point out the hypocrisy of the "thUGA" comments... If there is a team that wantonly brings in thug-ish players, it's Auburn, by a country mile...

All that said, I think the answer is obvious... most Auburn fans probably don't care that much, but if they had to pick someone to win rather than a meteor, it's Bama because it's such a love hate relationship... state pride, lot of intermixed families with Bama guy marrying Auburn gal or the other way around... and ultimately, it's just more of the same... change is much harder to deal with.

Not really in response to you, as you've been reasonable here, but not really a better thread to add this to and don't feel like it warrants its own...

Having said that, the Georgia fans have definitely surpassed all others for worst...perhaps of all time. Watching them win after (and while) behaving like nuclear douches...was pretty hard on Auburn fans and probably anyone that hates douches. The "act like you've been there before" doesn't really apply because they really haven't. And my God is it obvious they haven't. They are acting like rappers that just had their first big hit and have bought a garbage truck with 52" spinners, and $1,000 velour track suits.

The problem with your assessment is that we have been there before and we do know how to act right. But for 35 years we have been getting shite on by our auburn, Bama, Clemson, and Florida neighbors. Y’all wrote this fricking check of obnoxiousness and we’ve come to cash it. Time to pay up and suffer the monster you’ve made.

Seriously, what the frick did y’all think it was going to be like when UGA inevitably got back? Did y’all think we were just going to be cool about it and give high fives to all of you for your rough love approach to making us better? frick that. I hope we are so insufferable that the general population of Georgia dips after all the rival alumni get sick of it and move away. Tennessee, FSU, Florida, Clemson, Auburn, Bama. We have caught it from all angles, from all types. It’s payback time
