Was yesterday the worst day in Auburn football history?

Who do the barners cheer for in the championship game? Do you cheer for Bama because another Bama championship is just an inevitability of life at this point or do you cheer for Georgia to help prevent strengthening what is already the biggest little brother complex in all of sports?

Auburn already played the championship game and lost. UCF is the national champions.

Biggest game in UGA history yesterday... and we’re on your mind. Impressive.

As if getting owned by a one-handed UCF player yesterday wasn’t enough...
ETA: meant no disrespect. Dude is a great player. It’s just cool he was able to do what he did having only a single hand

It is hard to ignore what an epic failure your season became down the stretch. It was college football's version of a Greek tragedy.

Cards were stacked against us. Tough to run that gauntlet down the stretch. Schedule was brutal. As far as yesterday, Didn't look like the players or the coaches cared much so as a fan I didn't either.

That young man could flat out ball and was an inspiration!

It's up there...but once we lost the SEC championship, nothing else was all THAT important. Losing to FSU in 2013 was awful. But...most of the season was pretty enjoyable. We went 4-8 (almost 2-10) and went winless in the SEC 5 years ago. That was far worse but it was a slow burn. For every team that doesn't win it all, the season has ups and downs...you just hope for more ups than downs.
Having said that, the Georgia fans have definitely surpassed all others for worst...perhaps of all time. Watching them win after (and while) behaving like nuclear douches...was pretty hard on Auburn fans and probably anyone that hates douches. The "act like you've been there before" doesn't really apply because they really haven't. And my God is it obvious they haven't. They are acting like rappers that just had their first big hit and have bought a garbage truck with 52" spinners, and $1,000 velour track suits.
Bama is actually acting like they've been there before. That's why frick Georgia..and roll tide.

You let a G5 team with a one handed defender out play you on the LOS... it's a great excuse after the fact, but the "we didn't care" doesn't hold water... You got outcoached by a guy that is really talented... He'll be making less than your coach though for the foreseeable future, so you've got that going for you.

Wasn't that Auburn in 2010?
The little brother syndrome is so significant, they actually feel like they are relevant every season alongside Bama.

Top psychiatrists across the country have studied the Auburn inferiority complex deeply and regularly reference it in their work. Apparently, it is one of the worst cases known to man.

This - all day. It was almost hard to pull for Georgia yesterday. But I found myself doing it anyway. I just have to keep telling myself that I can't judge the whole fan base on a few dozen internet posters.

Not really the same at all ... we spent all season trying to convince other fans that Auburn actually deserved it because, not only did the NCAA exonerate Auburn, but Cecil would have to have been a criminal genius to have anticipated the involvement of the FBI and IRS (with investigative powers far beyond the NCAA), and to have outsmarted them all.
There is no controversy with UGA...and they didn't back into shite...great coaching job, great players too.. the fans though, Jesus H Christ the fans. So ever since the SEC championship game it's been nothing but

As an AU fan, a bad day for me is when we lose a big game.
Yesterday was not a bad day and did not bother me at all. Watched the AU game at a sports bar with a girl and was more interested in her than the game and was meh, whatever when we lost. A big AU game and the girl gets very little attention and the game is the main thing. Peach Bowl against UCF? Meh, whatever.
UGA game was great, fun to watch.
Went to bed at halftime of the Bama game and didn't care who won.
