This - all day. It was almost hard to pull for Georgia yesterday. But I found myself doing it anyway. I just have to keep telling myself that I can't judge the whole fan base on a few dozen internet posters.

Out of curiosity... who are these "few dozen"...

I'm willing to grant you:

OP... Still think he's an alter but maybe not
diddlydawg (improving slowly maybe?)
TB2k7

I can't keep up with the recent influx of absolutely shite posters, and there were definitely some who were out of their element after getting rustled the frick up from being trolled consistently... but I'd be hard pressed to find more than 1 dozen actual UGA posters who are worse than some of the Auburn or LSU posters when they're having any success at all...

Every fanbase on here has their own segment of insufferable asshats that post... some when they win, some when they lose... some just can't help themselves...

It's becoming a tired trope around here... and quite frankly I expect more out of the non-Auburn posters.

Losing the NC to FSU in last few seconds was wayyyyyy worse than anything UGA or Bama does this year. I don’t understand why people are focus on Auburn right now when two other SEC teams are playing in the NC. One fan base is going to melt Monday night harder than anything we’ve seen all year.

I haven't totally kept score.. but I will say that I officially hate UGA like I hate Nazis and ISIS...and that's never been the case before...and no one is more responsible for that than one poster here and I will not give him the honor of mentioning his name...but I'll say he is either a little bit retarded, or a genius level troll ninja like the world has never seen.

Why? I mean either fanbase will be upset... but melt? Probably not... Bama at least on paper is the better team... they have the fricking GOAT coach... we weren't supposed to be in the playoffs this year, so are ahead of schedule...

If Bama loses, there might be some dissention regarding whether Hurts v. Tua should be playing, but they've had a hell of a year, made it in the playoffs without making the SECCG... avenged their loss to Clemson... It's objectively a great year for both programs regardless of the outcome.

LOL no.

at the end of the day, Auburn still beat both Georgia and bama. played 3 of the four play off teams, beating the two teams that are in the national championship.

i think georgia and bama fans want the auburn fans to be miserable but that's not the case sadly

when you see your record, both teams will remember losing to auburn (and now one will lose in the national championship)

do you not remember when auburn went 0'fer in the SEC a few years back? there were many "worst days" then

No doubt. That FSU loss was devastating. I still can't watch a replay of it and drank myself into a near coma after the game. Missed my flight back from the west coast the next day, didn't care. Missed another flight next day, still didn't care.

Yesterday wasn't even a blip on the radar.

Wow... I half recall you being pretty "not-terrible" before the DSOR part 1 game, so someone certainly rustled you up a bit. I will be the first to admit, we have had an influx of terrible posters, but feel like it's calmed down of late... but I also generally try to ignore their threads when I see them... some people can't help themselves...

Hopefully the rest of us who don't suck can swing you back to neutral-ish... I like a healthy rivalry with Auburn... my best bud is an Auburn grad. You gotta be able to give and take a little shite, but should generally be in good spirit. I fricking *hate* Florida... that's a lot different.

Has the ink dried on your 4 loss coach's contract yet?

Well, you do not know the pain of losing in the NCG. You may or may not after Monday, but it isn't fun.

I honestly did not watch ESPN for over a week after the game. Couldn't handle any reporting or references to the game.

I'm sure it does. And AU has been in it twice this decade already.

If UGA loses next Monday, especially if it is close, the devastation will be real.

I would certainly hope not and chalk it up to "fake news".

Imagine the melt when Hurts outplays Tua in the A-day game!

UGA will be sad if they lose, but I think most will spin as being optimistic about the future, Kirby "ahead of schedule", etc.

Then, a few years from now they will realize that was all fool's gold. Kirby won't beat Saban. There will be a few repeats of the 2012 SEC championship game, and ultimately UGA fans will end up broken just like LSU fans have become.

TLDR: UGA's old Daddy Florida went out for cigarettes and never came back, but their new Daddy Saban will never let them down.

This concludes my Saban dick riding

Yeah... that's what I mean... I just don't envision this epic melt here... it's two good teams that would have played in ATL earlier if Nick and Kirby hadn't gone 7D chess and thrown the games against Auburn when they didn't count... (I am of course kidding Aubies... or am I? : )

FWIW, I don't think most Auburn fans are "melting" here either... I do think the Auburn TROLL posters will be upset if they lose ammunition to talk shite to Georgia about national championships, but for the good ones out there, will just keep on keepin' on. As someone said earlier, once they lost in ATL, I think the smart ones checked out a bit... doesn't mean they wouldn't have preferred that we both lost yesterday, but I don't think it's keepin' them up at night.

Literally, no... figuratively, yes... 2012 SECCG was not really any different, except maybe that we had to live it twice... once after losing, and again after watching Notre Dame just absolutely stink up the place and knowing it would have been next to a walk-over.
