1 LSU (beat every team on this list)
2 UGA (beat two teams on this list)
3 UF (beat team 4 on this list)
4 AU (beat team 5 on this list)
5 UA (beat no team on this list)

I would have felt better if we had been#5 or 6. Our qb was a question mark. Two pic 6s in his last game. Our D didn’t improve over the season. Wrong players or wrong coaches. There was some little something going on. Team didn’t have what it took to be great.
LSU is where the SEC needs to be.
Good Luck. But watch out for Dabo.

Your sig is a Bryant Denny photo so I assume you are a least a moderate Bama fan. If that’s the case then you likely aren’t just trolling saying I’m an idiot. So seriously what teams outside of big 3 do you think would have handled Bama?

With Tua - Yes.

I think we see now why the committee kept them so high. There was a definite drop off after that.

LSU would more than likely have blown out Utah, or Oregon, Baylor, etc. Maybe not by 35 points, but I doubt either of those teams could keep it competitive for 4 quarters.

Yep. This is truth. Although I’d personally only count the 1st pick 6 as a straight up mistake. 2nd one wasn’t great execution of a pass attempt at all but the bounce off the receivers back into Auburn’s arms was pretty flukey. Mac played well man. Burrow only put 25 on them.

Idk. Bama is 2-2 in their last 4 games of the season. Doesn’t sound like the 4th best team to me.

Either Bama or Oregon, but they have shown they won’t take a 2 loss team over a one loss P5 conference champ.

Time to accept that program isn’t what it once was 5 years ago.

Got the shite beat out of them by Clemson. Lost to LSU at home. Lost to a terrible auburn offense in 2019.

Basically losing to any team with a pulse. Auburn, UGA, or Florida are better than Alabama’s Big 12 defense.

So long, Nick.

Yep. They won’t take the 2 loss team in that scenario. I get that. Bama had their shot. But, seeing how Bama played ya’ll and what Mac still accomplished against Auburn (in the Iron Bowl in his first real start) would you bet on Bama over Oregon? Outside of LSU (best team in county IMO), Clemson, and tOSU, who would you bet on to beat Bama?

You seriously think they could have hung with OSU with Mac and company? I’m not sure about that man. They would have scored for sure but even putting 45 on that Aubie defense they still lost.

No - we lost to Auburn.

We were better than Oklahoma, but so were quite a few other teams.

No. Bama didn’t earn a slot. Obviously Auburn is better.

It's always fun to shite on Bama, but they were a better team than Oklahoma, and I would pick them to beat Oregon head-to-head.

The only real competition to the SEC comes from the Big 10, and I don't think Wisconsin, Penn State or Minnesota could handle them on the field.
Ohio State could play them tough, and with a good chance to win. Wouldn't be easy.

You say UGA, but something's wrong with their offense, and they don't have the excuse that they lost their QB. Florida isn't there yet. Auburn, had they beat someone else in addition, would be a pick.
Any of those teams would give the top 3 a game, and could win it. And I think they'd all beat Oklahoma.

Yes, but GA, AU, and FL were all a half-step back.
