re: The Saban smoke is too thick

Honest question, what is the point of a smokescreen in a head coaching search? You either want the guy and you offer him or you don't. You think they are really running this major sophisticated NSA counterintelligence operation?
What exactly have you seen that Nuss is treated any worse than other key players, especially QB's that have stunk it up in the past? Some mean messages on the message boards?
ehh I want to beat arky and oklahoma and I'm personally tired of watching Nuss out there stinking it up.

You can tell by looking at them they are going to get a Naty this year.

re: Do coaches use AI nowadays?

I was thinking about this the other day, if the LSU It dept made or outsourced to another university/institution a play calling/game management program similar to how google made the chess AI. You would think you could have the best play caller game manager in the world by just having some nerd feeding a computer the play by play. That would be really outside of the box thinking for a coach though, that are generally not very outside oft he box thinkers.

Unless they changed it you can just cancel on their website. Just go to manage account and cancel the subscription there. I canceled mine after the Ole MIss game.
Sifting through the misinformation is half the fun of TD. If you want to believe its Nick Saban and he is announcing Sunday or Monday but you're not sure. Do what I do and just believe it and fantasize about the melt that Bama fans will have and all the arse kickings we will give the rest of the SEC for the next 5 days until he either announces Monday or doesn't (he probably wont but he could).
If we are going to go that route and not swing for the fences I would rather go for Kelvin Sheppard, Brady or a top Programs successful OC or DC.

Yeah that checks out.

Bro, you sound pretty angry. Just chill out, nobody knows for sure what is going to happen but it's fun to think the Goat might come here even if it is only for 3-4 more days until reality likely hits.
My intuition says UF probably does get him, They are desperate and lets be real he is a perfect fit there.
I personally think he actually enjoyed coaching and being the best, so really the only thing holding him back from taking the LSU job is because he thinks he's too old and wont be able to do a great job. That's why from the start I thought it was possible to convince him to come here.

Probably, Honestly if we somehow look good vs Bama the noise will start to grow. Hopefully he has the maturity to know that he was good where he was at and probably just needs a healthy raise.

re: Ed O screwed this program

If you don’t remember there were a lot of things swirling some in and some out of his control. Most had very little to do with his sex life though pictures in bed were embarrassing to the university. He lost the locker room after he went on Fox News and made some complementary comments about Donald Trump during a pretty tumultuous time with Covid and BLM protests. There were also several articles coming out by yahoo sports negatively talking about our coaches and former players with regards to rape and turning a blind eye.( all were hearsay and many turned out to be bogus.) . You also had Ryan Clark who was let in the locker room to talk and helped push some of the kids away from a team mentality and into his narcissistic world view.

All these things culminated into half the team transferring or quitting (opting out) including most of the good players. The recruiting classes didn’t completely fall off but Ed was never able to win back the locker room and keep kids from transferring so that’s why he had to go.

I'm sure he's not the only one looking over the contract, and all the people on the BOS and all the money guys gave the ok.
I though landry was trying to claim credit for the firing, now no one wanted it to happen but Scott? They just need to get a new president, get organized and figure out what they're going to do.
