Well at least this happened in a game that ended up being a blowout where that first down really didn't matter. Hopefully they work on it so he or clark doesn't slide too early again.

Burrow predated the portal but I agree in general that transfer QB's seem to be the ticket these days.

Before BDS did all their contra flow stuff it didn't seem like that big of a deal. I think it was 07 or 08 I remember them shutting down all the side streets and putting everything contra flow to where you couldn't get where you wanted to go and forced everyone there onto the same street.

I guess but if you switch QB’s LSU wins by at least 2 scores. Then there would be all sorts of stupid threads talking about how we dominated the trenches.
Well Berry had more stars and makes more money in Nil. So he’s better.

I think it’s clear his passing ability can be coached up. Probably not to the extent where this year we win the SEC but I can see him continuing to improve so next year he has a really good year.

I think we struggle again to run the ball and contain Chambliss. They have some busts that keep us in the game and we win a heartbreaker on the last drive.

This game is going to be pretty hard to predict IMO.
Who cares who needs it more, at the end of the day we are LSU and they are Ole Miss. They have a good squad this year but in general we should expect to win this game most years.
They lost by 1 point away to a top 5 UT team. They shouldn't drop that much and frankly looked better than we did this weekend IMO.

I think it comes down to as simple as if we can run the ball we will be successful with this team, if they can shut down our run like last night and make Sam throw the ball we are going to be in trouble. The key will be challenging teams enough downfield so they don't just stack the box and pin their ears back against our running game.

To me the problem was they shut down the run and were able to bottle sam up for the most part. Then the offense really struggled to function, forcing more passes which forced Sam into more mistakes. If LA tech can do it, I'm sure Alabama , A&M and UT can as well. This is Kiffins first year here and he is a major upgrade but probably doesn't have the horses to have us dominating the SEC and winning the NC this year.
Yeah, honestly with that effort #6 gave on that play, I think you push him back to second string for at least a week. Really wish the staff wouldn't have passed on Darby, he would be a starter here IMO.
If we can keep him for at least 3 years Ill be happy and any time after that would be considered a bonus IMO. I think fans will be fine as long as he doesnt leave us for someone else in the conference like Alabama or Texas. Either way I'm just going to enjoy the ride.

No I think we just need to make some back door deals to get rid of sanky and any other trouble makers that are causing us trouble.
