Even with Mac and company, it’s starting to look that way. Yeah yeah... Bama didn’t deserve it. They had their shot. I agree. What team would likely be more competitive than them in the playoffs though against the big 3? Seriously.

Edit: some good honest replies in this thread, but so many people just downvoting and talking shite. Nobody ever actually names a team outside of LSU, Clemson, and tOSU that they would bet against Bama on. That’s all I’m saying. Yes they lost against the only ranked opponents they played. Yes, Auburn beat them. Yes, Tua got injured. All true. Just saying I think they were the 4th best team. No way to prove it. Whatever. Just my opinion and mine isn’t based on too much. Most of you know a lot more than me. But I haven’t seen a decent argument yet.

I think you had .5's after the top 3.

Now if Tua didn't have the horrible hip injury, we can chat, but if he doesn't have it, Alabama's probably 4.

With Tua? Sure.

With Mac? Still top 6 or 7. Definitely better than Oklahoma, but half the conference was better than Oklahoma.

Maybe..But, maybe the Oregon that showed up against Utah also, or the Baylor that showed up against Oklahoma the first time...Really, who knows
