Tennessee, Auburn, and Alabama rank 1,2 and 3 for cost of attendance stipends. They all pay over $600.00 a month which is more than enough to pay a car note. Student athletes can also still get financial aide and student loans on top of full scholarships.
D1 football players at the FBS level all have nice, cars, clothes and eat well. The poor college kid rhetoric doesn't apply to them.

Well, to be honest here, I don't think Nick Saban is part of this. Are Bama alum out of control? The answer is yes and always have been. Football is above God Almighty there. But again, I do not think Saban himself works that way.
Many top recruits want to go to Alabama because of who they are. No brainer. The ones on the fence, yes they are given an offer too good to turn down. Auburn Alum is just as guilty.
LSU has them too but I guarantee you Les Miles had no part of it. There are in fact good clean head coaches out there that look dirty because of people on the outside and yes, sometimes dirty assistants and/or a head coach.

That's not how this works. If it's on the internet, the car belongs to him, and a booster paid for it.

For those of you who do not know this - Anyone can apply for a bank loan using assets or "future" assets as collateral. A kid projected to be an NFL player can walk into any bank and negotiate a loan based on his NFL draft status. FACT.
