Why would he turn down Texas to take the Auburn job? He could have Texas back in the playoffs in a few years with how shitty the big 12 is. Would be a lot tougher at Auburn. It ain't happening

You don't have that at Auburn

Never knew what was going on there. I can’t see any other reason Texas can’t at least be top-2 in that shorty conference.

Because their boosters are a bunch of old dipshits that want to have say so in what recruits they get and complete access to the program.
Ole Miss had that problem (obviously on a much smaller scale) last year. The old boosters wanted Matt Luke hired, then when he was fired they wanted us to promote McIntyre to head coach because he was "an Ole Miss guy" somehow. Keith Carter is the first AD who ever told them to frick off and got Lane

no way in the universe would Meyer turn down Texas and accept a job at Auburn

Urban isn’t taking a position to coach in Saban’s conference. He would have to have real expectations of a championship opportunity within 3 years and going against the Bama machine isn’t that. It’s probably why he left the SEC the first time.

He thinks he had chest pains at Florida. Saban will make him have a massive heart attack!

Weirdest thing I learned today is that Meyer’s son in law grew up in Auburn and his mom is a realtor there. So, I guess he’s got a connection to a good realtor if he needs one.

And he immediately had an aneurysm after

Why would UT want Meyer? Herman was supposed to be the second coming of the Lord.

So, what did he say he would do if he was the head coach at A&M?

Couldn't hang with Saban using Florida's resources, thinks he can with Auburn's?
