University of Alabama threatening to sue Clay Travis over T-Shirts

So Clay is a big Titans fan and started selling these shirts awhile back for Marcus Mariota
Well after the National Title game, since Tua is from Hawaii he made a new version of the shirt.
So UA sent him a letter saying he was selling unlicensed Bama gear because of the script A.
Expect it's more like the Braves A than the Bama A

He basically told the University to frick off on his podcast..

High quality art on that trophy. Looks like an extremely cheap Tshirt to me. Should sell well unfortunately.

I'm just not sure how they would have a case seeing as its a different 'A.' They don't have a trademark on the letter A.

Clay's attorney should send them a strongly worded letter followed by a summons for harassment and a letter to the Alabama Bar calling for censure of the attorney retained by Alabama involved in the harassment.

That doesn't look like an Alabama script A or a Braves script A to me. Just looks cheap and cheesy, much like Clay Travis.

Clay is an attorney and would absolutely win a lawsuit against Alabama. The University of Alabama does not own all rights to the cursive letter A.
Saw his podcast and he is basically daring UA to go through with lawsuit so he can counter sue them and promote his website.

No. Its not the same script A. It makes no mention of the University whatsoever. I don't think they have a case.
