Unfortunately that is true. The eradication of all things associated with the South are on their way to being eliminated from society.
The removal of monuments and the purposed renaming of US Army bases that were named after Confederate generals are all part of this sanitizing. When those bases were built the naming of those bases was done as an act of reconciliation.
Those of us born and raised in the South are really fed up with this crap. Where does it end? Do they eventually go after descendants of Confederates? To the whacko crowd nothing is too radical for them.

As the descendant of Confederate soldiers and someone born and raised in the South we cannot eradicate the worship of these traitors fast enough. That being said, I don’t have a problem with the term Dixie

Saw Fox 6 coverage. Interviewed 3 students all in support of removing DIXIE. Bet those news fricks stood outside Denny Chimes 10 hours to get 3!
