Ugly game. But the grit is there and the team is for real.

These boys lost by 3 to the number one team on a combination of self inflicted penalties, nerves and a bad picked up call. These are things that can be overcome, and I’m confident that the real test is in Knoxville next week. Win in a hostile environment after a letdown, and you’ve got all possibilities in front of you.

Yep they played hard. In this modern era.
Nothing to be worried about. Need to take care of business on the field

We can definitely beat these guys in a rematch, just wasn’t our night.

I love the direction DeBoer has this team going......

Agreed. This team is light years better than last's. Defense got gassed but there was absolutely no quit by Alabama. Couldn't say the same for last season.

I like this team. We are young but have some fight in us. It reminds a lot of Bama 2008. We just need to put this one behind us, learn from our mistakes and not let Georgia beat us twice in a row. Focus on the next game.

Certainly no doubt from anyone watching that Alabama is on par with Georgia.
They're good though. Offensive line is excellent. Aside from the lucky breaks, the difference was how well they protected the QB and created some big plays in the running game.
Tough to swallow that missed PI call but otherwise a good feeling about Bama playing like a NC contender.

You nailed it. I wish I could hang this quote from Billy Martin in the locker room:
"Be a hard loser but be a smart loser. Understand the mistakes you made and come back tougher and stronger. … If you lose today, come back and say, 'I'm going to beat you tomorrow.'"

This will be the only game we lose. Not a bad team to lose to and we had them beat as well
Ceiling is still very high

I'm shocked still honestly this team is doing as well as it is compared to where I thought it would be at the beginning of the season.
DeBoer has us going in the right direction. Very proud of these guys

I’m not even mad. I am actually really excited about the future for this team after tonight.

Hope the team rebounds from this loss like I think they will. I was disappointed in three or four things the team did tonight, but overall, they showed up. They should improve and be a better team by the end of the year. Georgia's experience and seasoning showed up in general and especially in the second half.

Got to get a lot better defensively. It might be time to shake that secondary up we can't get off the field on third down.

It’s time to see what O’Neal can do. He can’t do any worse than Lee and maybe he won’t implode and do stupid things.
