I agree Cudos to FLA .just playing them has to improve their crooting...

I have a great idea...UCF should play FCS #1 North Dakota State. Both are undefeated and they can bill the game as being for the undefeated national championship. And UCF could schedule them for a three game home, home, neutral site series.

SC did a 2fer with them and played them at their place in 2012 when they were Top 10 ... and we beat them. I still though SPURrier did them a favor giving them a 2fer. It worked out well for us that year because we beat three Top 10 teams that season and finished #4 in the country. But there is absolutely no reason to give them a 2fer.

UCF isn't actually trying to make the playoff (where they would get embarrassed). They are trying to look legitimate enough that the Big 12 can stomach inviting them in. UCF doesn't actually want to play any P5 programs they would likely lose to. Their whole program model is to play a crappy AAC schedule with a couple low tier P5 schools in the mix, go undefeated, and then brag that they are ready for the big time. And eventually when the conference realignment dominos fall again, the Big 12 will come begging UCF to join them. 12-0 with a win over Pitt and Iowa State gets you in the Big 12. 9-3 with road losses to Alabama, Texas, and Florida does not.

And that is exactly their best long term strategy. And the one card they can play in obtaining home and homes with the likes of Pitt or Iowa State is that those schools want to play road games in Florida for recruiting.

So, it sounds like UCF has a problem (they don't play anybody, ever) and Florida doesn't have the same problem (SEC schedule).

UCF wants this problem to be Florida's problem. Florida says "frick off, we're not doing a 1-1 schedule." UCF cries and whines about it.

UCF should take the 2022 date to play in the swamp and PROVE they are worthy or cry like the little bottom feeders they are. It's their problem.
